19.01.2022 Meet one of our everyday heroes - Dr Dinesh Palipana. Dinesh was in his second year of medical school when he was in a car accident that resulted in a tetraplegic injury. Having completed medical school, Dr Dinesh is now working in Australia’s second busiest Emergency Department. He speaks, writes and advocates for the equitable treatment of people with disability and has contributed significantly to the advancement of treating spinal cord injuries and restoring functions of... people with paralysis. Dinesh has fought to make educational institutions more inclusive and champions passion, purpose and inclusion in all he does. I think one of the main things that we need to start doing is looking at people's strengths rather than deficits. Look at what they can, rather than can't do. What can be achieved"
