13.01.2022 Michael Chapmans solo ride top to bottom of Australia to keep our community heart beating. Four and a half thousand kilometres (4,500km) from Cape York Peninsula to Hobart, solo on a bike. All of this inside the month of September. All to keep our community heart beating. When ? September 1 through 30 starting in Cape Tribulation, Queensland. I will be riding with my friends and family in a support vehicle down the East Coast of Australia through Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra,... Melbourne and Hobart all within a month. Why? To raise awareness surrounding the AED Locator App designed by Parasol EMT New England to put the community and first responders in touch with their local Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). For businesses- we are aiming to register as many facilities as possible with onsite AEDs so individuals can locate them in a time of emergency. DOWNLOAD THE AED LOCATOR APP & REGISTER IF YOU HAVE AN AED ! For individuals- we would like all Aussies to DOWNLOAD THE AED LOCATOR APP to know where their closest AED is and to understand the importance of basic CPR and Defibrillator training to take charge in any emergency situation that may arise with their loved ones or even a complete stranger.
