25.01.2022 Tandems with our students Anna and Jesse at Tamborine Mountain early this morning as part of their Single Day Introduction to paragliding with Paratech. We got to soar around up high enjoying for a while enjoying views of the Gold Coast, Brisbane CBD and even the Glasshouse Mountains were visible with the clear blue sky. After the tandems we spent some time groundhandling and practicing solo launches, finishing with some light theory and a sit in the simulator to practice some basic control techniques. Happy Birthday Anna!

23.01.2022 Our soaring students all getting some this morning in the Illinbah Valley. Dan, Orion and Iman all getting a couple of flights with some ridge soaring and thermalling. Orion scored a 55min flight up to 3000ft at times. 20.01.2022 Most of our students fly solo from small training hills by day 2 and begin solo mountain flights by day 3/4. After this a lot of time is spent working on the small details of active flying, mainly pitch control, to develop more instinctive and natural reactions. 14.01.2022 A busy morning on the hill today with our students Phil, Will, Serena, Stuart joining fresh Pg2's Ryan and Dave for some early 6am glides down into the Illinbah Valley. We'll be at it again this afternoon for some soaring flights when the seabreeze settles in. All of our current students are now in the final stages of training with only a few flights remaining for their PG2 licence.... The minimum licence requirements are 30 solo flights including 3 x 15min soaring flights.
