20.01.2022 Yesterday was World Parkinson's Day and April is Parkinson's Awareness Month. Parkinson's is a progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement and mood. Currently there is no known cause for the development of Parkinson’s and no known cure. There is still much to learn about what causes Parkinson’s disease, but research is ongoing and there is every hope that outcomes for people with Parkinson’s disease will continue to improve and that ultimately there will be a ...cure. Parkinson's Awareness Month is important to educate people about Parkinson's disease, to recognise symptoms (both seen and unseen - see below) and support those living with Parkinson's disease.
