25.01.2022 Parcel pick up at the supermarket at Hamilton island, ha

25.01.2022 I had a few people ask me about my last post on Saturday so I thought I would post more pics of the Coolum house. This one is dog friendly (2 dogs). Rusty, my cavalier has seemed to make himself already at home. Now off to the beach. Have a great week everyone and I will see you in a week in pick up. Jas

25.01.2022 As promised....... Reef suites NQ. So glad to share this with you guys. Very exclusive and such an amazing holiday. French chef, 24hr service. I have been on a few amazing holidays but this is next level special. A private stairwell down to your suite which has glass walls and floor. It is amazing to shower and see fish swim by, ha. Food was amazing and the staff were magnificent with anything you needed. I wasn't sure how well I would sleep but just watching the fish from your bed put me straight to sleep unfortunately. Ha. So peaceful and simply amazing.

25.01.2022 Day tripping to Toowoomba today and saw this rocket. Reminded me of the rocket that use to be in the park across from the shopping centre. By any chance does anyone have a pic of it?? On a side note, Dave is on holidays for 2 weeks. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Jas

25.01.2022 An original pic of parcel pick up no.1 has surfaced. Still cant believe I started here as a fresh faced 17 year old. Ha. Even pick up 1 had a refresh as pick ups were expanding. The front brick wall was removed and where the cars pictured are, was fenced off, approx 25m2 to allow groceries to be kept outside. There was a dual lane running right to left of this picture which would hold about 50 cars. Inside on the back wall, upright fridges and freezers were put in to handle the sheer amount of orders we were receiving. Inside a little further was the 2 service trolley lift and stairwell that led to the store. We also had a delivery driver "kelvin" who would deliver orders to peoples houses. What a flash back....... ha. Have a great week everyone. Jas

23.01.2022 Sneak peek No.3 of the new Westend store, Recycled trolleys. Yes these trolleys are made from 152 recycled milk bottles and do you want to know how I know that? Because its written on the side ha. The new store is looking great !!!!!

21.01.2022 Good morning. I have received a few messages this morning and just wanted to clarify how to use online at the moment. There is no same day ordering, regular customers need to place their orders before 6pm for NEXT day ONLY windows. Priority customers can order in advance. I hope this has helped. 15.01.2022 Just a quick shout out to the wonderful people who leave us amazing feedback. Thank you. Speaking of collection, my tip is to always wait until you get your confirmation to collect. I receive mine via the app and text. This is to make sure your groceries are ready and also you can check in to let us know your on the way for a even faster collection process. 15.01.2022 What a fantastic week, we were busy with online orders and the new "crowd" orders which made my mornings fly. People are so happy to see click and collect open again. We even had quite a few parcel pick ups. Jas2 is taking a week holidays and will be back next Sunday. I had a lot of questions this week about the etiquette of collection. So I thought I would run through it......... Please (if you can), Check in, just to let us know you are coming. This way we can get your groceries ready for when you arrive. Tell us your surname (additional info maybe required by your attendant). We will place your trolley near your car. Ofcourse we are more than happy to help if you would like us to load your car and especially if you need assistance. (Please let us know). Drive off with a smile and let us know how we did via VOC, or letter/note. Thank you to the customers who dropped things of to us aswell this week. We received chocolate, hand made cookies and a lady even dropped off a gift card who wanted us to give to another customer as a "pay it forward", so we did and you really made another persons day. Dont forget you can direct message me with any questions. Have a fantastic weekend and I will see you next week in pickup. Jas

11.01.2022 I hope you are having a fantastic week. Hopefully as relaxed as my dog on the sun lounger, ha. Thank you to all our fantastic regular customers who helped us out, especially on Saturday as the day was out of control. Also a huge thank you to the customers who leave us feedback, this was the one from yesterday, we really love reading them. Don't forget that Xmas is really fast approaching so my yearly advice is to stock up on the long life items so Christmas week all you have to buy is fresh items. 11.01.2022 We are 50 years young on July 8th. Here is a pic, circled, of parcel pick up 1. You can just see the wall where the original lift and stairwell was. The dual lanes use to run along the fence line towards the garage end. Back in these days when Dave and I worked there, we use to have up to 20 pick up people working on a Saturday. I only worked in pick up 1 for a year before we moved to pick up 2 which lasted nearly 20 years before we moved to our current pick up no.3. Have a great week everyone. Jas

09.01.2022 I get asked about this one all the time as people see Rusty and I scootering around Indooroopilly, ha. Yes, it is a special doggy harness and Rusty loves going on the scooter as he knows he is going some where exciting, like cafe 63 for a chicken breast and the dog park ha. Absolutely loves it. Just a staff update: Dave is currently on holidays for a week and will return Tuesday. I will be on holidays next week for 1 week, return for a week then be on holidays for 2 weeks, u...p at reef suites And hamilton island. Jas2 will be on hols from the 11th for 6 weeks to have his 2nd baby. Speaking of jas2, he celebrates moving in to his 19th season in pick up. Congrats. Happy birthday to ex pick up staff member, Big AL who turns 74. He looks so good he could come back tomorrow, ha. I hope everyone had a great holiday and we will see you next week in pick up. Jas

06.01.2022 Flash back monday. Inside pick up 2 with Big AL. Pick up 1, our first pick up we got nearly 24 years out of (Dave,Marlene and Jason worked in the first pick up). Pick up 2, pictured, we got nearly 20 years. Our current pick up we heading towards 7 years. I wonder what pick up 4 will look like??? I still get asked about Big AL and yes he is doing well, still living in Indooroopilly and shops regularly. If you see him make sure you say hi. 06.01.2022 Just want to say a huge congrats to our store manager Adam who is moving to the brand new store opening soon at Westend. We are so excited for him and cant wait to pop over for a visit. Adam tells us that the store has a full service, state of the art pick up. Very exciting. Congrats Adam and thank you for all your guidance and your amazing customer service focus. I have learnt so much from your 3 years at the helm. I will keep you posted with our new store manager but rumour has it, even though he has big shoes to fill he is more than up to the task !!!! Congratulations again and we wish you all the best !!!!

We have had a few delays on collection as we have raised our collection numbers, mixed with big numbers of parcel pick ups which have taken off with the full opening of the centre. So thank you for being patient. We are expecting a very big weekend. I am off on holidays for a week to a beach house so Dave and Jas2 will be looking after you. ... Also big thanks to my friends at Orbitkey who sent me a sanitiser to clip on to me. I love my Orbitkey and multi-tool. Great products. Have a great weekend everyone and I will see you in a week.
