20.01.2022 Parenting Through Connection would like to announce their next Circle of Security parenting course. The course will run every Wednesday for an 8-week-period from 7. August until 25. September 2019 at Bondi Beach Cottage in North Bondi. Cost will be $250 per person or $350 per couple. If you are interested and for more information, please email [email protected]

13.01.2022 What I wish I had known before I had kids (That I know now). I wish I had known that my children's behaviour was a language - that their actions and words were telling me something about what they were feeling or thinking. I wish I'd remembered that they did not get up in the morning plotting to do things to frustrate me. I wish that I had known tat melt-downs and explosions usually meant that my kids were tired, or hungry, or bored or frustrated themselves. I wish that I h...ad known that they needed an adult to help them find the words to express what was troubling them but they sure didn't need a frustrated adult. I wish I'd known more about child development, brain development and behaviour. I wish I had known that growing up is a slow process. I wish that I had known how each developmental stage has its own way of seeing the world. I wish I'd known that most times they saw things very differently from me. I wish that I'd listened more to what was true about their hearts and spirits and personalities than worrying about what other people thought of their behaviour. 02.01.2022 Parenting Through Connection are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Bondi Beach Cottage Family Services and the Holdsworth Community in Woollahra since our last course announcement. We will be running our next CIRCLE OF SECURITY PROGRAM from 13.03.2019 to 15.05.2019 every Wednesday night (with a 2 week break over the Easter holidays) from 6.30 -8.30pm at Holdsworth Community, Woollahra. Cost per family is $100. There are a few spaces still available. If you would like to register, please contact Bondi Beach Cottage on admin@bondi beachcottage.org.au or 9365 1607. COSP is relationship/attachment based parenting program that focuses on recognising our children’s behaviour as signals as to what their needs are.
