16.01.2022 Please take a moment to read AusPATH’s statement on the decision in the re:Imogen case. We echo their best wishes to Imogen who is now able to access the treatments she seeks as part of her journey to affirm her gender. We wish her a future filled with happiness and euphoria.

16.01.2022 Over and over we see the results of quality research showing that supporting young people and giving them access to gender affirming treatments if they want them, has positive benefits for their mental health. Many credible studies of trans youth populations have demonstrated that gender-affirming care is linked to significantly reduced rates of depression, anxiety, substance abuse and suicide attempts, to put it plainly, gender-affirming care saves lives and allows trans young people to thrive.
