24.01.2022 Australasian Timber Flooring Association - ATFA Thank you for your recent handout for contractors in relation to the covid 19 issue. I have been using the wording that you forwarded and I would like to relate the following that underlines the importance of making sure of the safety of our workers.... I had a chap that requested a home quotation and he was very chatty. Just prior to me completing my call and organizing a quote time for him, I ran through your questionnaire.. Very quickly the mood changed and he finished off the conversation by saying, "I'm sorry I've wasted your time, we will have to postpone these works, my wife is awaiting her test results for possible Covid 19." No mention of this was made until I read out that spiel. Thank you ATFA for your assistance in ensuring our safe working environment. I missed out on a good size job, but I don't mind, I've spoken to other clients that have expressed how pleased they were that we were being cautious, and noted that it serves as a protection for them as well.

If we use waterbased polyurethane ceramic technology finishes you can stay home and watch the transformation. We only need you to stay off the floor for 4 hours at the most once the coat has been applied. (Slightly longer if you require a stain.) But hey 4 hours is nothing. Just binge watch your favourite series on Netflix. The thing is, don’t put off getting your floor done. Enjoy your new surroundings today. Have a chat to us about making it happen sooner rather than later. In order to keep everyone safe though, if an onsite quotation is required, we will be asking the following of any households we are visiting. * Have you or anyone at ...the property been diagnosed with the COVID-19, developed symptoms or been advised to self-isolate by a health professional? * To the best of your knowledge, has anyone returned from countries listed as "high risk" by the Government in the last 14 days. Many of our quotes can also be done via email or facetime. If photo's of your property are available from realestate.com or similar websites, we can produce a ball park figure to help to get things moving in the right direction. Over the years we have used this tool effectively and with a high degree of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Photo's sent of the areas requiring work via messenger or email are also very helpful. We will be implementing cleaning protocols, and as much of our work is conducted with only 1 worker on site with no home owner present, we are confident that we can continue and adhere to our current bookings. 04.01.2022 Good old Cork Floors, they aren't as popular as they used to be, but I can say from personal experience. If you have small children and you want something with a bit more warmth to it then timber, and has a gentle sponginess under foot, you can't go past this product. Plus anything breakable dropped on this surface, might just last another day.
