09.01.2022 Appropriately physical distanced, 9 Mordialloc Sailing Club Skiff teams walked under COVID restrictions to participate in the INTERNATIONAL event 'Castle to Crane' on the weekend. This event was all about participation and the following and enjoyment that community rowing has in places around the world. What a great opportunity it was to create some of their own fun and get at least close to the water in a safe and friendly manner. The Parkdale Community Bank t-shirts looked pretty sharp too! . As soon as permitted, the club will be back in the skiff on the water to do some real rowing.

Parkdale Mentone Community Bank Branch is delighted to announce a partnership with Kingston & Districts Netball Association KDNA has been operating since 2000 and organises a netball competition for over 1000 players across netball clubs based in and around the Kingston area. The association has a high standard of playing squads with experienced coaches with 148 teams and 69 games played at Dales Park grounds on Saturdays during Autumn and Spring sea...sons each year. It's been a particularly tough year for community sport with no opportunities to hold events or fundraise. This project will establish the new Dales Park Pavillion as a community hub for the local area, as a place for the community to come together. KDNA are focussed on fostering a sense of community and this project funding will fit-out the furniture for the new pavilion. We have a longstanding partnership with KDNA and we look forward to seeing it prosper.
