23.01.2022 Dear friends, due to the disruptions caused by the bypass and the new guidelines surrounding social distancing we have made the decision to close Parker Cellar Door as of tomorrow Monday the 23rd of March. We will be assessing the situation week by week and will keep you updated with any new developments. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend #Repost @sharonwildaboutwine Parker Terra Rossa 1st Growth Coonawarra 1990; I didn't guess that this cabernet blend was 30 years old, nor did I think it was Australian! This wonderful wine is a classic Coonawarra wine - Doug Balnaves was the viticulturist and Ralph Fowler the winemaker! There's vanilla and spice of French oak on the nose intermingled with earth, red fruits, some tar all of which is echoed on the palate - which is seamless, evolved yet vibrant and super-concentrated.
