17.01.2022 Where does love go to When it is all forgotten and has left, Is it set within the stars Or hidden deep inside a chest Is it lost within the tears... Cried with all the pain, Is it found upon a cloud Cleansed by the rain. Is it lost in the sparkle That no longer resides in the lovers eye, Is it found in the bottom of a glass Or that bottle that's run dry. Is it stolen by the unfaithful Lost in the words of a lie, Written forever on a headstone Where we lay when we die. Is it lost forever and forgotten Or captured by an unrequited memory, I know though, where ever love goes when it has gone Is where you will find me. S #simplywords #parkerspoetryandlyrics

16.01.2022 The Mask To you it’s a piece of cloth to someone else it maybe a trigger that throws a person straight into a situation where they were once at their most vulnerable. A place where their innocence was stolen or where the endured so much pain that they were traumatised permanently. Sometimes when adults do bad things to children they know they shouldn’t be doing, they cover the mouth and nose of the child to avoid anyone hearing the child resisting, screaming or crying. ... Sometimes when little ones are reaching for a door because there is a policeman out side which to them means safety an adult will hold the child back kicking and screaming with the hands over the child’s mouth. Sometimes when a child is being disciplined beyond means and adult will push them against a wall and use their forearm across the neck to keep them in place. Sometimes when an adult brands a child to mark them as their property they cover their nose and mouth so badly that the child passes out either from fear, pain or not being able to breath. Sometimes when an adult goes to the dentist these childhood traumas can appear when the dentist tries to work on the patient causing the adult to use their hands to push away the dentist, to vomit gag and require heavy sedation. Sometimes when an adult requires a Dr to check the mouth or nose child hood trauma can rear its ugly head again and the adult needs to attempt to protect them self so a hand is raised to guide the Dr to ensure they don’t go too far don’t make sudden movements So if you see an adult struggling with their mask and they need to remove it for a moment in their own space away from others just to breath... Please have a thought for their misspent youth of survival. Some times the struggle is actually real and sometimes just sometimes they’re doing the very best they can do to be a part of something that goes beyond their triggers to protect just one other person. 13.01.2022 Some of you may not like this. I make no apologies for my heart, my words or my truths. I am truly grateful to have lived breathed and experienced 2020 as shocking as that may sound. I have learnt a lot this year amidst fire floods riots a pandemic and just every day life about people in general. Some was good, some was painful but I’m a better person for witnessing and experiencing all I have this year. My 50th year of being here was one to remember that is for sure. I am ...Continue reading
