15.01.2022 Following recent announcements by the Victorian Government restricting activity in certain postcodes and clarification around existing directions, Football Victoria (FV) has today released an update to the published Return to Training Conditions and Return to Play Conditions. The key changes include: Training and competition cannot occur in restricted postcodes; If you live in a restricted postcode you cannot participate in community sport elsewhere; and... 15.01.2022 Everyone at Meadow Park Soccer Club wishes Roy Carroll a very happy birthday! For any one who doesn't know, Roy was the founding member of our great club way back in 1975. He is still a very active and supportive member of MP. He can be found playing dominoes and enjoying a meal on a Thursday night and also cheering on our players every weekend. He is supportive of all our social and fundraising events, offers great advise and is very much loved by all of us! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROY

As per our Constitution, the following are eligible to vote: All financial members over the age of 18 Parents of Junior players get 1 vote per financial junior player All financial life members ALL members are welcome to attend. 11.01.2022 Dear Members, Parents and Players, I hope this update finds you and your loved ones well. We are experiencing times that are unprecedented and I must say challenging.... I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers, coaches, participants and families who have done their absolute best to ensure the club overall complied with council, government and health department guidelines throughout this pandemic. Your efforts throughout these difficult times and circumstances was very much appreciated by the Committee of MPSC. Meadow Park Soccer Club is a not for profit club, run by volunteers. Our volunteers devote a lot of time and energy to enable all our participants to enjoy the beautiful game. We are unpaid and do what we do because we love the club, want it to succeed. Our club relies on Sponsorships, Fundraising and Registrations for Income. All of these avenues have been severely impacted by this unprecedented pandemic. As most of you would be aware we have been planning this season since late 2019 and the majority of football related costs are expensed before a ball is even kicked. Uniforms, FV and FFA fees, equipment (new balls, cones, corner flags, goal repairs, nets etc.) have already been paid. We have now been advised of the FV refund Policy and are working through what this means in regard to the monies that we have paid and what we may expect to be returned. Which brings me to the topic of refunds, unfortunately we are not in a position to provide a full refund due to expenses incurred. MPSC would not be financially viable. This would be incredibly disappointing for all involved. In response to these concerns, there are some options available to our community club members we would like you to consider: 1) Roll over what you have paid in 2020 which will go toward paying 2021 fees in part/full note: next years fees are yet to be determined 2) Request a refund if you choose this option, the refund will be less already expensed costs per player and full fees will be required to be paid in 2021. 3) Donate what has been paid to the club ensuring we can get through these tough times, remain viable and continue to provide the services we do in 2021. For option 1, there is nothing you need to do. If you are choosing either option 2 or 3, can you please email [email protected] your preference so we can align and put 2020 behind us to focus on 2021. 07.01.2022 Yesterday, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced the next phase of the easing of the COVID-19 restrictions. Included return dates for competitive sport as follows: 22 June: 18 years and under full contact training and competitions 13 July: Adult contact training... 20 July: Adult contact competitions From 22 June, clubs can also access changerooms and showers. Club rooms can open for up to 20 people per indoor space. Gatherings will also be permitted but must abide by gathering restrictions spectators must not be in groups of greater than 20 and must adhere to social distancing requirements around the ground and venue. Meadow Park SC Committie want to commend all on their hard work and following club protocols. We must continue to do so even with the new dates release. Together we look after each other.

03.01.2022 It is with deep regret we wish to advise the death of a former club stalwart Marie Terbos who as Roy Carroll has advised concurrently held the roles of Treasurer & Secretary in the formative years of the club. 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE 23/06/2020 MPSC Committee have decided to suspend training this week. Our plan is to recommence training Monday 29th ( confirmation will be provided ) giving us the school holiday period with training still on. The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) has advised against travel to and from Hume, Casey, Brimbank, Moreland, Cardinia and Darebin until control of community transmission has been confirmed.... As a club we have not come to this decision lightly but the health and wellbeing of our players, their families and our committee is extremely important to us.
