05.01.2022 Well, how genealogy changes with time and research. Since writing this I discovered that there was an identical headstone in the Pingelly cemetery in Western Australia. All three died in Western Australia and why this duplicate stone was in the Poonindie cemetery remains a mystery. Something came up in the local paper recently, about the Poonindie cemetery so I wrote a letter to the editor about the duplicate headstone. Shortly afterwards the council had another cleanup and I see that the headstone has now been removed. There is no record that they are buried there. The ancestor that I mentioned in the story who was the farm manager at the mission twice was my great, great grandfather, George Gledstanes WOLLASTON.
