17.01.2022 Congratulations to Oscar, Ebony, Josie, Abbigail, Holland and Marcus for receiving a $10 credit to our Book Fair next year! These students have been participating in our Home Reading program and for every 10 nights of reading they received an entry into the draw and were fortunate to have their names pulled out.

15.01.2022 What a wonderful time we had at our Swimming Carnival yesterday. Congratulations to all of the children who displayed outstanding sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the day. Results will be posted later this afternoon once presentations have been made.

14.01.2022 Stage 3 are having a wonderful time on their excursion. Firstly they went to the movies, then had lunch and a play at the Adventure Playground and now they are with Aldo learning the finer points to bowling!

11.01.2022 "Rise Above Self." Johnathan Eric. Johnathan Eric is in 5/6R a valued member of our Parkes East School Community. His behaviour in the classroom and playground environment consistently upholds our PBL values of being Safe, Respectful and Responsible. Johnathan always uses outstanding manners and cooperates with all students and staff. He completes his class work with a positive attitude and always tries his best. His responsible and respectful attitude allows him to be very understanding, patient and helpful towards other students. Johnathan is a positive role model to his peers and his caring nature ensures he helps and encourages others around him. Congratulations on your ‘Rise Above Self’ award Johnathan.

09.01.2022 Our Stage 3 students have had a fabulous time bowling. Aksel and Connie were our Bowling Champions and were presented with a prize from our Captains, Grace and Brody. They have now left Orange and heading for home. Students are due to arrive at our bus shelter at 4pm.

08.01.2022 Many thanks to our P&C for supporting the purchase of our new shade tents. These will be very handy at our carnival today!

08.01.2022 KMR had lots of fun during fitness this week. The hot weather has meant lots of clever improvisation to ensure we stay fit inside.
