07.02.2022 Mariposa, a very reliable Japanese blood plum - my favourite blood plum. A little battered from high winds and hail early in the season but still a good show. Not a magic plum season, but still there's a few varieties pulling their weight. #bloodplums #mariposa #summerfruit #stonefruit #prunussalicina #prunus #chemicalfree #regenorchard #summerinthetablelands #southerntablelands
04.02.2022 Cipollini onions, first time I've grown these and I'm definitely doing it again! Beautiful, sweet and delicious. #onions #cipollinionions #homegrownveggies #regenvegiepatch #summerveggies #summerinthetablelands #southerntablelands
16.01.2022 Bogong raspberries - bit patchy and windswept so far - but delicious. This Australian bred raspberry is an autumn bearer of lovely firm large fruit with a good flavour. I've had to pull out one patch that was never going to amount to much- too close to a row of poplars. So only a 12m row left. But, I look forward to the return of raspberries. #raspberries #raspberrytart #rubus #rubusidaeus #bogongraspberries #autumnraspberries #growyourownfruit #regenberrypatch #chemicalfree #southerntablelands

01.01.2022 Bronze fennel flowers picked for pollen - coming your way @oldsaltdistillery I've missed a few so they'll be lots of bronze fennel seed! #bronzefennel #fennelpollen #oldsaltdistillery #oldsaltbotanicals #botanicals #summerinthetablelands #southerntablelands
19.12.2021 One of the two Fayette peaches on the tree. A lovely freestone yellow flesh peach. Great colour, lovely flavour. This peach season has been a disappointment with late frost, hail and high humidity vastly reducing the crop (most trees had very few peaches, some had none). Of the trees that yielded well, the brown rot was devastating. Next year ... #peachorchard #peaches #fayettepeach #prunus #prunuspersica #stonefruit #summerfruit #summerinthetablelands #southerntablelands
