10.01.2022 Parkes Caravans requires a service person for full time employment carrying out all aspects of caravan repair, servicing & installation work. Mechanical or caravan industry experience is preferred but not essential. This is an extremely varied role and is suited to someone with the following attributes:... Knowledge of caravan servicing including maintenance of brakes, and bearings A mechanical background for general caravan repairs would be advantageous Must have experience in the following 12v electrical installation & repairs furniture repair/modification welding metal work general plumbing sheeting/cladding Must be competent in working with power & hand tools Be able to work unsupervised, yet in a team environment Must have a high standard of work, strong level of attention to detail & take pride in their work Be willing to learn Adhere to Safe Work Practices A Driver's Licence is essential; Forklift Licence is desirable The Job requires some level of fitness as you will be required to work under caravans, climb ladders etc. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday and remuneration will be reflective of skills.
