24.01.2022 Thursday 3 December Great weather for a great paddle! Sweep Linda smoothly guided us through coach Beth’s program and we clocked nearly 8km! Along the way we saw some beautiful birds. Thank you to you both for a good workout!

22.01.2022 To start 2021 off, AusDBF has created a Buy-Sell-Swap-Donate (BSSD) Facebook Group to support the dragon boat community Australia-wide to buy, sell, swap, look ...for and even donate dragon boat equipment and resources with each other. To join the group, you need to be an individual dragon boat club member from an AusDBF-affiliated Club anywhere in Australia, or even a Club itself. (Your State/Member organisation is already on board!) As this group provides services for these participants, businesses, including retailers or wholesalers, are not eligible to join. To join, from your News Feed, click ‘Groups’ in the left-hand menu. Start typing ‘AusDBF Buy Sell Swap and Donate’ (https://www.facebook.com/groups/381645373055821) in the search bar. Select the group and click ‘Join Group’. Your eligibility will be verified (through revSPORT) and you’ll be advised once you’re in. Terms and Conditions for joining the group can be found on the AusDBF website here - https://www.ausdbf.com.au//ausdbfbuy-sell-swap-donate-fac/

19.01.2022 Thursday, 19 November Coach Beth had some interesting exercises for us, including a very wet paddle-o-war! So good to be on the water when it’s so hot, and even better to jump in after for a refreshing swim! We also made friends with a dragon fly!

18.01.2022 Sunday, 22 November A lovely cool day with cloud cover for an excellent workout on our beloved dragon lake. Gatty had his turn at a trial coaching session and then Beth had us do a good paddle to clock up over 8 km! Dave even had a turn at trying to draw a figure 8 on our Strava map... you can see his art work in the photo mix! And we now have ample shade for summer - it looks pretty good from the air! Thank you to Bill and Beth for all the organising and hard work to make ...it a reality for our club! #parkesendeavourdragons #parkesdragonboatclub #lakeendeavour #visitparkes #parkes #dragonboating #dbnsw See more

17.01.2022 A very big thank you goes to Jason for a great job of whipper-snippering around our boat sheds on Lake Endeavour Road. Job well done.

17.01.2022 A really good read about cardio loss, strength loss and maintaining fitness.

15.01.2022 No training this Sunday, 6 December. We will be at Burrendong! No training this Sunday, 6 December. We will be at Burrendong!

11.01.2022 2021 Craziness While the wild storm this afternoon had us all in a twist, our adventurous member David Potts was out there making the most of the event!! He was even rewarded with a ‘bottle’ of gold at the end of the rainbow when he completed his extreme training session!!

10.01.2022 21st November Working Bee A good crew of very hard workers turned up to place the rows of bollards around our new shade structure at Lake Endeavour. Club works- coordinator, Bill, was impressed with the teamwork and thanks all those who contributed. Watch this space for more to come, with finishing touches, down the track.

09.01.2022 Yay for the Western Region dragon boaters!

06.01.2022 Who’s up for a new fun warmup exercise?

01.01.2022 Sunday, 3 January 2021 After the super cell event with flash flooding in Parkes yesterday, we were happy to get on calm water with more storm clouds overhead for our first paddle of the new year! Coach Beth made it a memorable one for us with drills on both sides with the ‘beloved’ crate, as well as continuous paddles for 3km and 2.5km to all add up to nearly 9km for the morning. Our two guest paddlers did very well to keep up. Michael brought his son Michael, and Mel return...ed for her second try out. #parkes #endeavourdragons #parkesdragonboatclub #dbnsw See more
