16.01.2022 Parkes General Practice no-show and cancellation Policy Fees apply if patients miss or cancel (with less than one hours notice) two appointments. This penalty comprises a no-show /cancellation fee of:... - $30 for a standard consult, and - $50 fee for a pre-booked long consult The patient will be required to pay any outstanding account fees prior to making any future appointments.

08.01.2022 Parkes GP COVID-19 update: We're helping to keep the community safe and following the guidance and advice from NSW health, and we thank you for your assistance in doing the same. - Patients are now required to check in with a QR code when they enter the practice. ... If you don't have access to a smart phone, reception staff are able to check in for you. This is so you are able to be notified if someone who has been tested positive to covid enters our practice. - We ask that if you have one, to please wear a face mask to your appointment, and to come alone whenever possible. - We ask that you also continue to use the hand sanitizer provided as you enter. - To remind you that we offer telehealth and teleconference appointments. (If you meet a certain criteria) We encourage you to utilize this handy service. - And finally, we beg you, if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms, or have a fever, nausea, vomitting, diarrhoea, or you have travelled outside the central west in the last month, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE PRACTICE.....
