JT comes to us after just completing his ECB level 2 in cricket coaching, completing his University degree and raring to go for an Aussie summer of cricket. He’s already put his hand up to help around the club with some junior coaching! Jordan is a friend of Pete Bns and Stevie Cannon and will be a fantastic person to have around the club. As always if anyone has a spare room for him to rent out for the summer or knows of some employment please get in touch. We cannot speak highly enough of this young man. Welcome aboard Jordan!

23.01.2022 Massive week for all grades this week! Turf 1 vs Narre Warren - fighting to stay in Turf 1. A win will mean we win be in Turf 1 next year. Narre Warren vs Turf 4 - being a game in the top 4 a win will keep that breathing space, but a big win could mean top 2 spot after this round.... Doveton Nth vs Turf 7 - 2 games in the top 4, but 9 points from top 2, so can't move too much. But winning form is good form leading into the finals. D Grade vs Cranbourne - tough loss last week saw us drop out of the top 4 by a game. Facing the top side is a tough ask. But a win is required to keep in tough with the top 4 F Grade vs Coomoora - it's the classic 12 point game. 6th vs 4th. We are 6 points and % behind 4th. So a win will go a long way to keeping finals alive. Berwick springs vs U17's - 2nd vs 3rd, winner will be second after this match. Both sides are all but set to play finals. But this could be the game that decides who gets the home final. Good Luck to all our sides this week.

21.01.2022 Hi Guys and Girls, It's that time again.... Calcutta time. So put you interest in purchasing a Melbourne cup horse for the Calcutta. $100 gets you ownership for the horse. It will then go to auction on cup day where you can either buy it or sell it. If you buy it back you will only need to pay half of the final auction price, or if you choose to sell it you get half of the auction price. Example if the auction price is $600 and you buy it, you only pay $300 or if you sell it, you pocket $300. The benefits of being an owner! last years owners will be offered first chance to buy then it will be first in best dressed. Let David Ford know if you want one.

Graham Harris for umpiring Congrats to our winners Kumbu Jayasundara and Michael Hardie. Great effort by our runners up Imran Zaman and Thisal Balasuriya Set only 13 runs to win off 2 overs, Immy started well with a 4 off kumbus first ball. 1 run off the next 5 balls changed the complexion of the ch...ase . A 4 off Micks first ball left 4 required from 5 balls . But the next 4 baller produced only 2 runs leaving 1 to tie or 2 to win from the last ball. Player of the tournament Immy on strike . 3 changes the field and 3 mis wicket meetings later , Mick trundled in, Immy smashed it back to Mick , took off and was run out well short of his ground . Victory to Mick and Kumbu, 12 runs to 11. See more
