25.01.2022 The Parkinson’s Australia National Online Symposium continues today from 1pm AEDT (Sydney time) for all previously registered delegates only. Registrations for watching this event live closed on Thursday last week. However registrations will re-open next week for people who have not previously registered to be able to access the view on-demand facility when it is ready. To log-in for this afternoon’s presentations, the event page is https://parkinsons.delegateconnect.co/ ... Click on the ‘LOGIN’ button and enter your email and password on the log-in page that appears. Once logged in, click on the ‘WATCH LIVE’ button and select which stream to view (refer to the program found on the left hand side menu bar to check what room presentations are being broadcast). Stream 1 is Room 1, Stream 2 is Room 2, and Stream 3 is Room 3. If you were having trouble logging into the platform yesterday, we hope this has been rectified now. If you are still experiencing issues logging in, the quickest way to get help is to click the pink circle/speech bubble near the bottom right side of your screen and type in the box that appears. This will put you in touch directly with the technical support team at Delegate Connect and they will be able to assist you to log in and navigate your way to the live broadcast. All the presentations broadcast over the two afternoons of this Symposium (except for A/Prof Lachlan Thompson’s presentation on ‘Cell Therapy for Parkinson’s Disease’, and the men’s workshop session ‘Football, Meat Pies, Kangaroos and Holden Cars’), will be available to view ‘on demand’ for all delegates by logging back into the event page. The team at Parkinson’s Australia will notify all registered delegates when the on-demand presentations are ready to access. This is when we will advertise and open registrations again for those not already registered. Today’s broadcast commences at 1.00pm AEDT (Sydney time) in Room 1 (Stream 1), with concurrent sessions commencing in all three rooms (Stream 1, 2 and 3) at 2.20pm AEDT. You can review the program for this afternoon’s presentations here https://parkinsons.delegateconnect.co/x/program.. It is an exciting and packed afternoon; we hope you enjoy it. If you want to ask the speaker a question, please click on the ‘Ask A Question’ button below the presentation screen, not in the chat box to the right of the screen this is just where you can chat with fellow delegates. Questions received via the button will be read out to the speaker/s during the Q&A time after their presentation. Please send in your questions early during the presentation, as once we are wrapping up the presentation it will be too late to ask.
