22.01.2022 Exercise is second only to medications for slowing down the progression of Parkinson's. Through the science of Neuroplasticity or brain plasticity, the brain has the natural ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural pathways and connections. Brain reorganization occurs by forming new neural pathways to bring about a needed function. This is why repetition and practice is important when learning something new or wanting to reinforce something we need to do on a daily basis.
