Last night we had the P&C meeting and decided on some very exciting plans for the year and some others that are still in the works ... They involve the use of your NSW Creative and your NSW Activity vouchers ! We are working with local business and sports organisations to provide the Parklea Public School and the P&C a very exciting opportunity that would involve some great benefits for the kids . So keep an eye out on our facebook page. As the final details are being sorted today and tomorrow, and this offer will only be open to Parklea students !!

Even more exciting, today we had our new brave little Kindys get their first experience at Parklea Public School life, with Ruchi Shah our P&C Vice-President welcoming all the new families to Parklea Public.... 16.01.2022 The Parklea P&C AGM will be held on Tuesday 17th November at 7pm in the school hall. At this meeting all positions will become vacant, the current office bearers will not be returning in 2021. Please consider whether you would be able to take on the role of president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer or uniform shop coordinator. Please RSVP to [email protected] by 16 November if you wish to join the AGM and so that we can confirm the numbers with the school. All at...tendees will need to be registered. If you are not able to attend the AGM but are happy to accept nomination to a position or wish to nominate to a position, please submit your apologies to [email protected] and indicate in writing your position of interest by RSVP date.

15.01.2022 If you have updated your child’s uniform recently and have spare uniforms, we are calling for all Preloved Uniforms that you have spare Unfortunately Covid has our cupboard looking as bare as Old Mother Hubbard cupboard .... So if you have any preloved uniforms that are looking for a new home, please pop them in the 'Donations' tub in the school office foyer. All money generated goes back to the school to do amazing things like rebuilding the sandpit, supplying book p...acks to all students, and this year we want to resurface the basketball court plus much more. Also we sort thru uniforms donated and provide them to the school to help out any child that has an accident or assist a family in need. So please let’s get behind this ! and leave no family or child behind at Parklea. It is only with your generosity that we will be able to do this. A massive thank you to all those families that have already donated!!

We have not yet been able to fill the roles of secretary, treasurer, uniform shop coordinator or fundraising coordinator. Please carefully consider if you would be able to take on one of these roles to assist the P&C and support the school.... 25.12.2021 Hello Parkalinos ! As you know the Parklea Public School P&C is run by volunteers. In particular the uniform shop has adjusted its operations to deliver uniform orders (during this time of covid) to minimise community gathering and ensuring everyone is prepared for day 1 in a covid safe way. Today our uniform guru Vanessa Fernandez personally delivered over 50 orders ! ... The P&C knows how much work goes into running the uniform shop for the start of a school year, (let alone delivering it all for free) Thank you Vanessa !!
