20.01.2022 Tough, Challenging, Fun & for a worthy cause! On Sunday Over 70 of our players and coaches took on ‘The Great Race’. There was no better way to build for a big 2021 than taking on over 20 km's of hills, mud, rivers, obstacles, mind teasers and a bit of inter-club competitive rivalry. ... So far we have raised over $11,900 with a lofty goal to reach $20k. But it doesn't stop there... There is still time to get behind the event, with donations closing on Saturday Feb 13th (this weekend). So if you haven't had the chance yet and want to support the cause, you still have time to get your donations in! If you’re reading this for the first time and mental health resonates, feel free to support the hard work and education we are investing into our club. But one thing we have been incredibly lucky to have as a football & netball club is a solid foundation of great club people. ... And even though we have not had the normal awards night that we usually have in the past, there is one of the clubs most treasured awards that we still had to award as apart of our 2020 Season. And that is the Stephen Harrington - Best Club Person Award. In a year where people have had to come together more than ever, to check in on & care for each other, two our of club stalwarts have lead the way and has been the glue that has helped keep our community strong. So we would like to congratulate Jeremy Thomas & Colin Caulfield on becoming the Best Club "People" for 2020. Their tireless work has not gone unnoticed and as a club, we are incredibly lucky to have them leading the way. Congratulations Jeremy & Colin. From everyone at the Sharks, THANK YOU for all the work you do!
