21.01.2022 All dental clinics in Australia received an email yesterday from the Australian Dental Association, under their guidelines for COVID-19 all non essential dental... procedures are to be cancelled as from today. Its been a tough day on the phone Any dental treatments producing an aerosol are to cease. What that means for you is any treatment involving water spray and air are not to be performed by dentists in Australia. Whilst we had all the necessary protocols in place we have actioned this restriction immediately and hope all dental clinics have done so for the welfare of their communities. At Park Terrace Dental we have also extended the restrictions to other non essential dental treatment in our practice, to reduce the movement of people in our community. Rest assured we are here if you have an urgent dental requirement. Please stay safe, follow the guidelines and take the health of your family seriously at this time. All staff fantastic, warm, friendly, welcoming, professional, Damian is truly a master at his craft, & a true gentleman, Julie is such a pleasure to deal with. After over 20 years , first the first time I am getting regular complements on my teeth. Working in a very public forum, being able to smile broadly an welcoming is very important, at long last I can do this & be complemented on it. 20.01.2022 The Cummins Golf Club ladies hosted the 2019 EPD Championship Foursomes on Wednesday 3rd July. Thank you to Park Terrace Dental for being the sponsors of the da...y along with CBH Grain. A grade and B grade played over 27 holes with the C grade competing in an 18-hole competition. The Cummins golf course looked a picture with the lush green fairways and the back drop of gum trees and running creeks. The course proved to be a challenge to many golfers with the new scraps causing more putts than normal. The course committee who are all volunteers, had the course looking spectacular with many hours put into maintenance and mowing. Ladies Chairman Leah Carr welcomed 42 players from Cleve Golf Club, Coffin Bay Golf Club, Tumby Bay Golf Club , Port Lincoln Golf Club and Cummins who were vying for the EPD Championship Foursomes. Club Captain Tiff Firth ran through the local rules with players and announced the draw, sending players off to start the day. A grade had a strong field with 26 players contesting the 27 holes. A grade winners of the 27 Hole championship was Liz Zwar & Lisa Cook (Cleve) Gross 134 to runner up Cindy Ann Carr & Val Sharrad (Pt Lincoln) Gross 138. The Nett winner, Gina Kenny & Ann Trewartha (Coffin Bay) Nett 111. B Grade 27-hole champions Liz Blacker & Kathryn Modra (Cummins) Gross 157, to Runner up Pauline Britza & Robyn Pentecost (Coffin Bay) Gross 158. With Pauline Britza & Robyn Pentecost also being Nett winners with a Nett 114. C grade 18-hole foursomes champions were Jean Puckridge & @Jill Furnell (Coffin Bay) Gross 116, with Runner ups being Cummins ladies Judy Holman & Carmel Sheehan Gross 126. Novelty for the A, B and C Grade was the 2nd shot on the 9th Holes with Brenda Heath & Charmaine Cross winning A Grade, Sally Curtis & Ros Scrase B grade winners and Jean Puckridge & Jill Furnell taking home the C grade prize. The Cummins Golf Club wishes to thank Park Terrace Dental- Dr Damien Chang and Staff for their wonderful sponsorship, which provided beautiful trophies for the winners. Also, to CBH Grain (Local Rep Rick Will) who sponsored the day, allowing every golfer who played a 1 in 7 chance of winning a $50 sports vouchers. 18.01.2022 I was literally stopped in my tracks yesterday when I had the pleasure of setting up a clinical room for one of our lovely patients. Damian had been entrusted ...with restoring her smile and chewing function, with multiple dental implants and ceramic restorations. These beautifully crafted titanium abutments and ceramic crowns were the final stage. They are the culmination of Damians dedication to his profession, his precision, the ability to combine technology and craftsmanship to provide excellence.
