18.01.2022 I always try and get footage of the horses who come in so we can track how we are getting along. This gelding by Smart Lil Remichic came in for some general training and it’s cool to see where he started as a green broke 3yo. Now 8 weeks in seeing his owner be able to just put her hand down on his neck and lope along. He has learnt how to guide, speed control, hip and shoulder control and understanding how to move off the rein willingly. They both have tools to go home with to continue the training and get ready for their reining debut

Sire: Samos Show quality Riding pony x Thoroughbred mare 7yo 15.2hh Beautiful mare who is completely unspoilt and ready to go in any direction. Looks and movement for a show horse, athleticism for dressage or show jumping. All the foundations are there, just needs someone who will make use of her talent as sadly she is just otherwise sitting in my paddock looking pretty. She is going to be suited to someone who has experience producing a horse or a confident teen who likes to ride as many days a week as they can. This horse thrives with work. Three elegant and comfortable paces, has schooled over poles and free jumped 1.10m with ease and scope to go higher. I broke her in & know her inside and out. Has basic lateral movements, can ride down the road no dramas, great with obstacles. Good with dogs, traffic, tractors etc. She is going to make a top level horse for someone, just does not suit the discipline I ride. Up to date with Everything. Easy horse to handle. Doesn’t get matey with other horses and not mean, just is a bit a sensitive (I call it more precious than anything!) so does need someone who isn’t a hot head as she will feed off that.
