25.01.2022 Hi Wombat Community, Welcome all new players and returning players to season 2020-21! I hope everyone is as itching to get back to cricket as I am. With no new announcements from Dan today, our timeline for return to cricket looks like this:... 3rd November Begin training 7th November Intraclub scratch matches 14th November Season begins To ensure we are COVID-Safe with regards to training numbers and social distancing, please ‘book’ in your training sessions via the google form below. This will allow us to adequately plan training in groups no bigger than a team, and safely separate groups across different grounds. https://forms.gle/oeEN3S4w9MProWVj9 We also strongly recommend as many players as possible complete an Infection Control Training (once you sign-in it is the course at the bottom right and should take only a handful of minutes to complete). This will ensure we are abiding by government restrictions throughout the season. The more players we have certified the better. 20.01.2022 Thank you to all those who attended the first training last night. It was great to see so many old and new Wombats working together under the new restrictions and enjoying themselves. Training tomorrow will begin at 5:30, those signed up for the 5 or 5:30 groups should arrive before 5:30 to ensure we can get underway on time and allow maximum training time for all. We will hold 2 practice matches this Saturday at Brens and Walker. Please complete the attached survey around a...vailability for these matches. Players will be required at the ground at 12:30 for a 35 over a side game. 14.01.2022 Wombats, It is with great excitement that we will return to training tomorrow night. With the current restrictions in place it is important the as a club we follow the laws as they are currently set out. Please see below or training protocols and COVID safe plan, these can be downloaded from the PDCC website. All players must read these documents before attending training. By attending training, players have agreed to follow the plan and protocols.... Please make sure you have filled in the Return to Training survey sent out by Cass last week before you attend, and attend at the time you indicated on the form. Also, make sure you have indicated your availability for the practice matches on November 7th. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow night.

13.01.2022 2020-21 MCA Fixture is NOW LIVE on http://www.mca.asn.au/common/pages/public/rv/draw.aspx People have asked how the Round 15-16 RESERVE DAYS in the fixture wil...l work. Rounds 1-14 have each team playing the other sides twice, once home and once away, in the eight-team grades. If there are no washouts, then Rounds 15-16 will be played as fixtured, so that rounds 1 and 2 repeat. In the likelier event that some rounds are abandoned, rounds 15 and 16 will be replaced by them, in that order. (First priority is rounds needed to ensure that everyone meets at least once, next priority is order in which rounds abandoned.) In the Sunday grades, which have 15 rounds, the public holiday Monday March 8 will be used as the second reserve day if it is needed. See more
