25.01.2022 We are looking for people to assist us to host Open Court sessions! An initiative by Tennis Australia to get players back into tennis between the ages of 24-45. There are off court activities and on court activities (do not need to know how to coach tennis) for the 90 minute sessions. ... All training will be provided. Get down at 10 am, and it will finish at 12 pm.... Find William Trease the Parkwood maintence guy, on the day for him to assign a job to do. If you can, it would appreciative if people could bring gloves, rakes and wheelbarrows if you have them. Also an angle grinder is urgently needed if someone owns one. So unfortunately for now the courts at Parkwood Tennis Club are still closed. Stay tuned for more updates on Facebook and by email later this week. The courts/venue are still being maintained during isolation by club volunteers to the best of their abilities. ... Still a lot of manpower is required to get en tout cas back onto the courts, leaves off the courts and a general tidy up around the place.
