20.01.2022 I’m very happy to announce that the township of Parndana was defended and saved from the fires by 2 firefighters and the Army troops who stayed behind. Donni’s Digs is still standing. Although there is no power in Parndana and the roads to Parndana are not safe enough for residents to return as yet. But as soon as they are, Donni’s Digs will resume to accommodate people/families who have lost their homes during this devastating time. So no bookings for holiday makers will be taken until further notice. It is more important to house our displaced residents who have nowhere to go. I’m blessed to be fortunate enough to provide this service. Have a wonderful day, and be kind to othersyou never know when you may require their kindness in return Donni.

19.01.2022 Another great review and feedback

19.01.2022 Last night’s evacuees left a lovely note and some money even though I told them that all emergency workers and/or evacuees stay free until Monday morning. I’m just glad I could help out in some little way. I physically can’t help out at the scenes or on the trucks even though I have been trained in bush fire fighting many years ago

16.01.2022 A great review from a repeat guest

16.01.2022 Fantastic early feedback after only being here for half an hour!!

15.01.2022 Ready for tonight’s guests

15.01.2022 Another excellent review I can’t believe just how great this little venture has turned out

13.01.2022 Couldn’t ask for a better review

12.01.2022 Donni’s Digs is happy to announce that we survived the bushfires. However, Donni’s Digs is closed to all bookings at this stage until further notice as I have currently opened the unit to a family of 5 who lost everything in the fire other than what they were able to escape with. They were lucky to escape with their lives after receiving a text message saying that it was too late to leave. Once the family vacate, I will be looking at renting it out short term to others who too have lost their homes and everything else in the fires. It is with great sadness that this is even necessary, but it’s the least I can do to help our small community. Love, peace and best wishes to everyone around Australia who are currently ablaze. And just rememberstay safe and survive. Our country can and will bounce back from this once it’s over!

12.01.2022 Hi all, unfortunately due to the Corona Virus, Donni’s Digs is still closed until further notice. I was going to reopen on April 1st, but this will now stretch out until the pandemic is completely under control as I cannot risk or compromise my own health due to my own current health conditions.

09.01.2022 Another good review from happy guests

01.01.2022 It’s a pleasure to offer my digs up to the volunteers who are helping us with the fires during this time

01.01.2022 More great feedback
