25.01.2022 We had a great evening yesterday. Table topic what was your happiest moment in life? set the tone. Everyone are so engrossed in listening to the happiest moment of others that the first half just whisked off in a hurry. Second half carried the momentum with four wonderful speeches from our fellow toastmasters. To add flavours to this, the evaluators did a fabulous job in gauging the speakers. With Brian hosting most of the session, it was a pure enjoyable experience for ev...eryone. If you are not part of our club, just visit our club and you will find out why we all enjoy being here !!

20.01.2022 Last Nights Meeting | October 22nd: Our second meeting for the month was held last night and was based on the theme Dont Sweat the Small Stuff. We had a a small turnout, but nonetheless had an enjoyable evening! We heard a hilarious joke from Dhara during the Point of View segment, a rather familiar word from our Grammarian Terry and a Toast from Kate to the firefighters currently battling the bushfires across the state. During our Table Topics segment, Paul got us thi...nking with a number of great questions based on the nights theme. We also heard a speech from Terry in which he shared his thoughts on our countrys justice system - his second speech in a matter of weeks! Last but not least, we had a visit from our Western Division Governor, Ian Chick, who presented Paul with his Runners Up Trophy for his impressive performance in the recent Area 13 Humourous Speech Contest. A warm congratulations to Paul! Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday the 12th of November. Hope to see you all there!

14.01.2022 What an event-filled night at Parrachievers Westmead last night! Not only did we formally induct the 2015-16 Executive Committee members, we crowned our Toastmaster of the Year for 2014-2015! A warm congratulations to DHARA PATEL who was awarded the top honour for her unwavering dedication to the club over the past year. Dhara has carried on the work of much-respected toastmaster Steve Thompson during his absence and exemplified the core Toastmasters values through her commi...tment. Whether it be stepping in as sergeant at arms, coordinating and assisting with speechcraft courses, attending leadership training events and helping out at numerous other club and area-based events, nothing is ever too much hassle for Dhara. Parrachievers is very grateful for Dharas support in building club membership and getting the wheels turning at Parrachievers once again! We look forward to seeing the ongoing benefits of her hard work as we begin a new Toastmasters year. Congratulations Dhara!
