24.01.2022 Under 11 Div 1 IDCA President's cup R3 & R4 update Round 3 Parramatta vs Hornsby... Hornsby won the toss and elected to bat. Hornsby 120-7 off 40 overs. Kaylan Mantara 2-9 off 3 overs and Ronav Aparajit 1-4 off 4 overs. Jayden Paski 2 catches, Karan Ruhil 1 catch, Ethan Natkuna 1 catch and Ray Sharma 1 catch. Great fielding display. We started well with run chase but some loss early wickets we could not recover, and we were all for 94. Close game. Ronav Aparajit 29 runs and Ansh Lad 15 were the highlights. Round4 Parramatta vs Manly Manly won the toss and elected to bat. We bowled exceptionally well and restricted Manly to 6-93. Aryan Sinha 1-6 off 4 overs and Aiden Hackett 1-8 off 4 overs. Karan Ruhil taken a great catch in the mid-on. We chased the runs during 32nd over with the loss of 5 wickets. Great win away for us with 5-94. Good batting partnership from Ethan Natkuna 23 and Ronav Aparajit 38 given us the start we needed to win the match. A must win game and the team and they delivered.

19.01.2022 With hot weather forecast this weekend, we thought it timely to remind all of our Extreme Heat Policy. Questions regarding the policy, should be directed to your individual Clubs in the first instance Extreme Heat Policy 1.4 The fitness of conditions for play at each venue are at the sole... discretion of the Umpire who shall decide whether play begins, continues or is suspended based on the conditions and circumstances at that venue. If play is taking place it becomes subject to the Extreme Heat Policy if temperatures reach levels described in that Policy. SMARTPHONE APP The Weather Channel shall be the official App for sourcing temperature data. The feels like temperature shall be the official temperature measurement. Smartphone location settings must be enabled. CESSATION OF PLAY Level 1 The umpires shall schedule additional drinks intervals in the event that the feels like temperature exceeds 37 degrees Celsius (32 degrees for Junior matches). The drinks interval shall be of 5 minutes duration. Players and umpires may leave the field of play during this interval. Level 2 Play shall cease immediately in the event that The Weather Channel feels like temperature, at the location, exceeds 41 degrees Celsius (37 for Junior matches). Resumption of play Play shall resume if the feels like temperature drops to 41 degrees (37 for Juniors) or less. Loss of playing time due to Extreme Heat is treated as any other weather-related interruption. PDCA reserve the right to cancel a round based on a forecast of extreme heat conditions.

Blacktown won the toss and elected to bat, scored 7-132 off 40 overs Ethan Natkuna 2-13 off 5 overs, Jayden Paski 2- 14 off 4 overs and Aryan Sinha 1-9 off 3 overs. Ethan Natkuna took one stumping behind wickets. Parramatta won the game by 1 wicket. An exciting nail biting win with a ball to spare. Ronav Aparajit 78 not out and Aiden Hackett 14 not out brought us home. Great team effort.

16.01.2022 Under 11 Div 1 IDCA President's cup R5 update Parramatta vs Northshore Maroon Parramatta won by 81 runs... Northshore won the toss and elected to field. We batted well and scored 156 off 39 overs. Jayden Paski 38 and Ronav Aparajit 29 were top scores for Parramatta. Northshore were 9-75 off 40 overs and Parramatta won by 81 runs. Ray Sharma 3-9 off 6.1 overs and Pratham Choksi 2-6 off 6.1 overs. Great teamwork by all including Ansh Lad taking a great catch in the slips.

03.01.2022 Yesterday CNSW ran the first ever Girls Only School Holiday Program for girls within PDCA! We had 17 girls come along from a number of clubs across the district. Although it was hot, the girls had a fantastic time and we will see them playing again in the future ... Special shout out to Parramatta Women’s Grade Cricket Club who not only allowed us to use a ground as good a Merrylands Oval but also came down on the day to assist! See you at the next one!
