18.01.2022 HAMBLEDON COTTAGE is unable to be viewed through a guided tour due to the social distancing needs to control the COVID-19 virus attack. A visit to the Society WEb site will give you the opportunity to see various activities in past year. The GUIDES are keen to take you on a guided tour of the eight rooms and heritage garden as soon as government health official permit. You will be able to collect your recipe of colonial cooking in the Kitchen, hear the delightful piano music of Beethoven in the Withdrawing room, explore the life stories of the ladies of the Female Factory on display in the Lucas Gallery - the long room of the cottage.

15.01.2022 In response to the emerging developments with the COVID-19 virus, the Parramatta & District Historical Society has decided to postpone all our public events and to close Hambledon Cottage house museum, beginning March 18 until end April, when the matter will be re-assessed.
