25.01.2022 OIL SPILL: Firefighters have rushed to Devon St, Rosehill, where a truck was leaking oil and spilled almost 30,000kg of gravel on to the road shortly after 3pm. NSW Ambulance treated the truck driver, who is in his 30s, at the scene, where police are directing traffic. Motorists should exercise caution and avoid the area if possible. Parramatta Council is working to clear the gravel from the road.

04.01.2022 A 50-year-old pedestrian is in a critical condition after being hit by a car at Argyle St, Parramatta, after suffering a cardiac arrest. A CareFlight helicopter landed in the grounds of Parramatta High School where police escorted the clinical team to the scene of the incident. Paramedics were first on scene to provide initial treatment and CareFlights specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic assessed the mans condition, including performing an ultrasound. He was driven to Westmead Hospital where he arrived in a critical condition.
