23.01.2022 We were grateful to again be part of the medical team for the Rugby 7s tournament over the weekend! Thankfully it was a quiet weekend for us but it was great to be part of another brilliant tournament. Thanks to Rugby Australia for including us in the team #sportsdentistry #rugbyaustralia #Sydney7s

22.01.2022 Great work by our leading dental bodies in Australia and the US to force Netflix to do the right thing. Scientific evidence is paramount otherwise documentaries like this can be dangerously misleading. If you have any questions feel free to PM us or talk to us https://www.ada.org.au//Controversial-documentary-Root-Cau

22.01.2022 We feel blessed and honoured to be able to celebrate the 90th birthday of Robert Shayler and at the same time celebrate the 60th anniversary of our practice! Bob along with Keith Rigelsford started Parramatta Dental Surgery in 1958 and much of the success and the ethos of the practice was established by these amazing men. Happy birthday Bob and we hope that we have done you proud in maintaining the principles of the practice. A big thank you goes to Allsorts cakes for the amazing creation! Thanks so much Tracey, we were blown away by your talent! The cake helped make the day very special

21.01.2022 Last week we got to wish Dr Dina Bedros all the very best as she heads off on maternity leave for a few months! We are thrilled for you Dina and your beautiful family and cant wait to meet bubba number 3 We will miss you in the surgery as will all the patients and cant wait to see you back later this year! Praying that all goes to plan and that you are able to enjoy your time off with your growing family. Thanks again to Tracey from Allsorts cakes for your amazing cupcakes! You make it difficult for us to limit our sugar intake during these occasions

20.01.2022 We are well and truly back in the swing of things for 2018. It was great to start the year helping out with the Sydney International Tennis tournament. Hard to believe but we were busier in the tennis than in the Rugby, Ice Hockey or Gridiron! Pity that both Barty and De Minaur lost but both showed great signs for our future tennis hopes. Wishing all our patients a brilliant year ahead :)

18.01.2022 Long term mouth breathing in children may inevitably lead to consequences on their overall health and jaw development. Heres a great explanation of some of those consequences and what signs we regularly see and screen for in the mouth. Let us know if your child is sleeping with their mouth open even on nights when they dont have a blocked nose from being sick. We can point you in the right direction to help ensure they are getting good quality sleep for their growing bodies. https://youtu.be/3h0JgmmLj_Q

15.01.2022 How are your new years resolutions going for 2019? Hopefully one of them is reducing your soft drink and sugar intake. This new campaign, supported by the ADA, is a vivid in your face reminder of the dangers of soft drinks.

15.01.2022 Congratulations to both Aussie Womens and Mens Rugby 7s teams for their gold medal finishes at last weekends tournament! Brilliant effort and it was another great experience to have been part of the medical team :)

15.01.2022 Another birthday celebrated this week! Happy birthday Kait! We appreciate all that you do for us and we hope you enjoyed your special day

14.01.2022 These are testing times for all and to help flatten the curve we have chosen to close the surgery for the month ahead at this stage. This is not a decision we have taken lightly and one that is very hard for all of us here but we want to help do our part in this battle we are all in together. We are also concerned about adding further load on to our hospital system and so that is why we will still see acute emergencies only. ... We will be triaging any emergency calls to the practice and are working on some video consultation options to help with that. If you have any concerns feel free to call our number, email us or message us through FB or even google and we will arrange a phone or video consult. We are currently calling all patients booked over the next month to reschedule your appointments. Our hope is to return to normal work as of May the 4th 2020. In the meantime please pray for our nation and the world that we stay strong and win this war together Try & use this time to treasure family and the simple things in life! Stay safe, stay home & stay healthy Moe Farag and the team at Parramatta Dental Surgery

Alternatively, book online at any time from the convenience of your home. Stay safe everyone!

10.01.2022 We are well and truly back in the swing of things in 2020. We normally say happy new year but this start of the year has been subdued with the devastation of the fires. We are thankful to have linked up with Labinot & Karen Haliti and the Haliti Football School to be able to help in donating emergency kits to the amazing firefighters and SES workers. 05.01.2022 We are thrilled to welcome Dr Matthew Moussa into our team at Parramatta Dental Surgery! Matthew is a very talented clinician who has been part of our surgery for several years, initially as a patient and then as a trainee dentist over the last 4 years. Training in the practice during qualification has allowed Matthew to fully understand the culture of our practice and the strong ethics we strive to uphold in our patient care.... Matthew completed his training at Charles Sturt University and worked in training clinics through rural NSW as well as Sydney. He has a love for all aspects of dentistry but is particularly keen on the treatment of children as well as surgical dental care. He has shown his genuine care by also spending time volunteering in parts of Asia and South America through which he also gained invaluable dental experience in acute care and exodontia. Away from the clinic, youll find Matthew on the tennis court or researching his next hiking adventure. Matthew is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
