24.01.2022 Just $585 to go as we work together towards additional funding to support so many more families through our valued and effective Outreach program. Would you walk beside us by pledging or sharing? The funds that are raised will be used to increase the number of working hours of our part-time caseworkers to provide more case management and outreach support to clients in transitional housing including: assistance with housing applications, Victim's Services Counselling, immigration support, referrals, liaising with schools, financial counselling and assistance, court support for criminal or law proceedings and general appointments.

23.01.2022 In case you missed it, our Co-Chair Caitlin Carpenter appeared on Studio 10 this week as part of a feature on the work of our amazing friends at The Generous & The Grateful. This generous organisation helped us to furnish Parramatta Women's Shelter using furniture that would otherwise have gone to waste. Have a listen and learn more!

11.01.2022 NAIDOC week: 8-15 November 2020. Always Was Always Will Be. NAIDOC originally stood for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’. This committee was once responsible for organising national activities during NAIDOC Week and its acronym has since become the name of the week itself. NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia once a year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander/First Nations peoples.... The artwork above, titled Shape of Land, is the the winning entry of Tyrown Waigana, a Perth based artist and designer, of the prestigious National NAIDOC Poster Competition. It was judged by the National NAIDOC Committee to have best illustrated the 2020 NAIDOC theme: Always Was Always Will Be.
