19.01.2022 Volunteering today at Parkrun with my son. It was his first time volunteering. He said at the end- ‘that was fun, everyone smiled and said thank you’. I’m really pleased to be able to show him the satisfaction found in simply belonging and doing your share. It’s also a great way to see all the faster and the more relaxed people who take part in a Parkrun- 5k is 5k no matter how you choose to complete it- he clapped every participant as they passed by.
