08.01.2022 Dear team, we've had a few queries on out Outdoor Fragrance Flame so we have put together an FAQ - please see below. Can I use Scent Plus Melts in the Fragrance Flame? No. We designed the Fragrance Flame Wax Melts specifically to be used in the Fragrance Flame for optimal performance. Can I use the Fragrance Flame inside? No. It was designed and safety tested for outdoor use only. ... What will happen if I forget to remove the wick and it rains? Bring the wick inside and let it dry. Note that the wicks are very fragile so handle with care. How long does each wax melt last? Each Wax Melt will last approximately 75 minutes. How will I know when it is time to replace the wick? When the flame fails to melt all the wax (approximately 100 Melts worth). How many Melts do I use at once? You can use just 1 or as many as 4 at one time. How do I extinguish the flame? Without touching or moving the glass cylinder, use the included snuffer to extinguish the flame. Can I leave the Fragrance Flame outside? While you can leave the unit outside, we recommend you remove the wick in case of rain. Wait until the wick cools and remove. It can be reused next time. Cover the unit with the lid so debris does not collect inside. Can the lid be used as a snuffer? No, please use included snuffer. Why did my flame self-extinguish? The flame will self-extinguish when the Wax Melts are completely consumed. Can I get replacement wicks? Yes, once you have used the 3 wicks that are included you can order replacement wicks under replacement parts on the website. How do I clean the Fragrance Flame? Clean with a soft dry cloth. Glass cylinder may be hand washed with dish soap and water. Dry thoroughly. Discontinue use if glass cylinder becomes chipped or scratched. Will the Fragrance Flame rust if I leave it outside? No, it is weather resistant. We recommend bringing it inside in winter. Do I need to add new melts if I extinguish the flame before the melts are consumed? No, simply relight the next time you’re ready. Can I use my Fragrance Flame without the spacer ring? No, use only as the assembly instructions indicate. How do I change over to a different wax fragrance? Once the prior fragrance is used, simply add the new fragrance of your choice. How do I remove the wax and clean the parts? We recommend using all the wax before taking apart to clean. Parts can be cleaned using warm water. See more
