16.01.2022 Good Morning! We were suppose to do this Saturday, you know as a TB but we have had some unfortunate news hit our Team at Pasifika Festival Vic that has slowed our excitement from our Pasifika Festival Vic a Saturday ago! Our hearts are with our Team as they stand with their families at this time in Samoa We have so many photos but I wanted to start today with these ones - because they are the reason Pasifika Festival Vic runs as smoothly as we possible can given the many ...people involved both behind the scenes and on stage. Without them a festival is a shamble! So without anymore of my blah blah... A special thank you and all the praises and blessings to them for all they did to make Pasifika Festival Vic what it was and more, our Eagle Eye and Mentor to all us young ones in the game of Event Management Anita Larkin - thank you for always being there at the very beginning until the very end to ensure that everything is in place, our people are on task and watching out for everything that our eyes miss! Thank you for your continued support in us and our vision for Pasifika Festival VIC! Thank you to Grace Vanilau and Nala Taukilo for managing our stage! What a job - trying to keep the program running on time and ensuring that our performers receive all the TLC they need before they get on stage - thank you thank you! Hugh Drum of HD Production - hands down the ONLY Sound Man you need to ensure that everything works music wise and all - YOU ARE THE MAN Hugh - thank you for always taking care our our festival and our community! Our amazing MC's Joe Fa'agase and Ree Peric - not enough words to thank you both for taking charge of our stage and welcoming everyone to the stage, to filling the gaps and well Joe making it about him every now and then We love you Jojo! To our youngest team and Leaders in the making who worked overtime before the festival and during to ensure that everything was ready and on the day Hugh had all the support he could get with music and performers - my right and left hand Ofeira Simaika Satele and Shyla Mariner thank you both for all you do for the KYR Inc and Pasifika Festival VIC! The late nights and small kine tears all worth it - you did us all proud and so so proud of your hard work in everything! Betul Tuna thank you for your leadership and for taking care of our people especially our Food Stall Holders and Community Stalls and youth volunteers! And last but not least team Know Your Roots Mentors Candie Taawhi RiRi Smith Leativa Tiumalu Tuaopepe Christina Dennison Malo Tuaopepe Lavinia Losaki Tiffany Noelani Le Nevez thank you for supporting our young and watching out for all of them throughout the day and helping us behind the scenes! 13.01.2022 Have you ever been to a festival that was for your people, run by your people? Pasifika Festival Vic happens in Shepparton and is organised and delivered by Pacific & Maori people FOR our people! These are the results! Not many words needed - if our people are smiling, their tummies are full and their hearts are full of joy and pride even if it is for only a few hours - we have succeeded in delivering to our people and our greater community more than any one can write or talk about! Thank you for coming, thank you for supporting our efforts and thank you for your continued encouragement! We truly are grateful and can't wait to bring Pasifika Festival 2020 to light in another 12 months!

So much captured in these photos no words can say how proud and happy we all are for what we achieved this weekend, not only as a Committee but as a community! The smiles, laughter and joy you can see on people’s faces is exactly what it was on the day - pure joy and pride!!!
