17.01.2022 Giving your dog a lightweight summer haircut can help prevent overheating, but never shave to the skin, your dog needs at least one inch of hair to to avoid getting sunburnt. Some breeds have double coats that provide insolation from the heat so make sure you get advice from a groomer before giving your dog a clip! Double coats consist of a top layer and bottom layer referred to as the "undercoat". The undercoat consists of a denser set of hairs that are designed to provide insulation for both winter and summer months.

07.01.2022 As our pets age, their mobility is likely going to decline. But this doesn’t mean our senior dogs don’t require any exercise. In fact, maintaining an active lifestyle will help decrease the onset of ailments, such as arthritis and muscle loss. Although your older dog might not be chasing the ball as fast or as far as he used to, there are still many ways to engage your aging pup with safe physical activity.
