15.01.2022 Reactors: the body is in continual search of balance, homeostasis, constantly calculating and interpreting all the 0's and 1's of information in the brain. (Or ...balancing the +'s and -'s in polarity terms) Today's geometry anatomy exploration is that of reactors of the cranium, shoulders and pelvis. By simply drawing diagonal datum lines of the three layers, we can begin to see the connections between the bones. Most fascinating to me is that of the neck, highlighting the placement and importance of the hyoid. It is also neat to begin to see the triangles drawn illustrating the abdominal muscles, and also reticent of the spiral lines of fascia. In assessment, we often find shoulders and hips counter balancing each other under the eyes and ears, which always seek to be level with the horizon (and making cranial nerve 8 happier).
