Well its that hectic time of the year for some of our students with final exams, assesments etc and we are right there with you and encourage you do just do your best. no one can ask anymore than that. The same applys to when you are doing your practical driving test. Always remember the Examiners are not there to fail you but just for you to show them how you drive. If you drivie safely, obey the rules and ensure your MSMPSL is there. You will succeed. Congrats to our latest group of acheivers and we wish you all the very best in your driving careers. Remember Safe Driving For Life, starts with you:)

22.01.2022 Hi, Another couple of weeks drift past us and our students are all doing so well. It’s a credit to them considering the Year 11’s have block exams and the Year 12’s are edging closer to the end of school. Well done to you all. Tania and Jovan are so exited about their lessons as they have both had a number of Tests and it’s the culmination of all their hard work and dedication that is shining through with their students. Well done to them and more importantly to their student...s. Not all students pass first time and there can be different reasons why but one thing they need to remember is that although you havnt passed this time, you will pass next time and learn from the experience and apply what you have learned to your next test. Always be positive because you can Till next post
21.01.2022 Hi all. Well time rolls on and for most students Exam block is now over and last week of school before a well earned break. To all our students who passed their test recently, a big congratulations and some who did not pass the first time but went through and blitzed it the second time, well done also. Remember, if you dont pass your test the first time, its not a bad thing, we just need to learn from our mistakes, work to fix them and go again. The Examiner who tests you o...nly wants you to show them you are a safe driver who understands the rules and shows safety in all that you do. When you sit the exam, it can be daunting and even the most calm and logical drivers can make errors. This does not mean your a bad driver but you do need to have confidence in yourself. You will prevail:) Till next post, have a safe and happy journey
20.01.2022 Well, end of school holidays and the final term for all the year 12 students. Its a stressing time but remember you can only do the best you can do. Dont stress. Thank you to all our loyal students who have stuck by us over the years and we have hit a milestone last month with over 1,500 students taught while Paul Has taken the reighns of Pass Plus Training Academy. When asked if he was still enjoying the role, he was quick to say Absolutly!!! "There is nothing more satisfyin...g to me that assisting Students acheive their milestone of getting their P's. It is worth its weight in gold" to quote him. With dedication like this, it is no wonder that we acheive repeat business from parents sending their childs brothers or sisters to Pass Plus. We take nothing for granted and will continue to serve our clients as best we can with the most up to date and engaging training seen in our area and QLD. Thank you to you all. A big congradulations to our recent students who passed their P TEST. Well done to you all. Dont forget you can still get your free one hour Keys2drive lesson through Pass Plus Training Academy. Until next post
20.01.2022 L plate drivers are amazing. People who have driven for a while, sometimes forget how complex driving is. The amount of coordination and thought process that goes into driving is astounding. When Learners first start, we are almost asking them to balance a plate on their heads while rubbing their bellies with one hand, hoping on one foot and juggling three balls in their other hand. They are truely outstanding people to learn all the processes and at the same time ensure the... safety of themselves and others. While it can be daunting for the supervising driver also, we at Pass Plus fully support and promote the excelent program Keys2drive. Google it and have a read, you will see it can realy help the student and supervising driver alike. In the several hundred free keys2drive lessons I have conducted, to date I have not had one supervising driver or student say it was not worth participating in. And its FREE:) Congratulations to our students who passed this week and we thank you for supporting Pass Plus Training Academy Till next post
20.01.2022 Hi all. Well its game on. We welcome Tania to the team and we also welcome Harry. Tania is now part of the Pass Plus team and is already settling in to her students. We welcome her and look forward to a long association and many happy students. You will now find it so much easier to book lessons with us at times suitable to you and dont forget your free one hour Keys2drive lesson.... Harry is our new Hyundai i30 and he and I have been getting acquainted. I look forward to great training and lessons with him and hope for you to meet him soon. As always a huge congratulations to our new P plate drivers who have been enjoying their new found freedom. We are so proud of you and thank you again for allowing us to be part of your learn to drive experience. For the new L platers coming on board, the QLD Department of Transport have now put in place the new Prep L getting started on your licence program. It now involves you registering on line for your CRN (customer reference number), doing your test on line and then going to the Dept Transport to collect your L licence. We are happy to discuss this with you if you have any issues or questions with the new program. So now Jovan, Tania and I look forward to further assisting you in obtaining your P licence and till next post, Drive Safe for Life.
20.01.2022 Hi all, Another month and here we are in March. We have advertised Keys2drive with you on our site for some time and we have had such success with the program. It is a free one hour lesson for our students with the added bonus of having their supervising driver involved as well. To date, we have not had one student or parent/supervisor who have found it a waste but more so have come away saying wow that we=as good and we learnt so much.... Check it out on https://www.keys2drive.com.au Again a big congratulations to all our students who have passed to date and we look forward to many more to come. Thank you as always for your on going support and Tania and I wish you safe driving for life
19.01.2022 Hi all, Well time marches on. Students are in the middle of their exam blocks and we wish them all the best. So much going on with Pass Plus at present and we are firstly as always grateful to our students for their support and the joy that they bring to us. We have had many students pass their tests since last we wrote and we wish them all a safe and happy driving time for their entire driving life. ... We have had an addition to our team of trainers, Raphael. Raf as we know him, has been with us for a few months now and is settling in to the Pass Plus Team. We welcome you Raf and hope you enjoy the Pass Plus way. Raf is teaching Automatic and has had much experience prior to joining Pass Plus. He believes in the same principals we do that driving safe for life is the only way to go. Now with Raf, Tania and myself , we all look forward to better servicing your requirments. We are currently experiencing an over whelming level of support and lessons at present. Due to Covid, there is a back log of students looking for lessons. We are doing our best to accommodate you all and thank you again for your patience with us. Till next post, stay safe and drive safe for life.
18.01.2022 Hi all. Well for all those Year 12 students who are just making their way back from Schoolies. Hug your maum and dad as they are now releived your home in one peice and safe:) Well done to you all for braving this past year of school and well deserved break coming your way. A huge congrats to all our students who past recently and we are so happy to have been part of your process to acheiving your goal of your P's.... In our area there are so many road works going on and some have been going for over 12 months now. Be careful to not suffer from road work fatigue. What does that mean, well the speed zone in road works is 40KMs an hour for most and although they have been going on for a while, they are there for a reason and there are workers working there, so keep them safe by keeping to that work zone speed limit. They deserve your respect and are only working to make our roads better. Till nest post.
17.01.2022 Hi all, Here we are marching through January and its almost time to say goodbye to holidays and back to school. E hope you had a great break and this year is a boomer for you. Congrats to all our new P drivers and we wish you all the best and safe driving for life.... Till next post.
17.01.2022 At Pass Plus Training Academy, we have been operating in the Greenbank and surrounding areas for several years now and are proud to be part of our community. We sincerely thank all our clients for their support and look forward to further improving our service levels and offerings to you. Watch this space in coming weeks for some really exciting changes. We also would like to take this time to congradulate our new P drivers on the road. This week has been a bumper and we look forward to assisting even more drivers soon. Till then take care and drive safe.
17.01.2022 Hi all, We have had a lot going on over the past three months. Covid19 (yuc) computer glitches, no tests but over the past two months things are starting to get back to normal. Tests have fully opened again which has been great but putting a wee bit of strain on our systems. Please bare with us as we all work through this very busy time. We have unfortunately disappointed several of our clients due to the immense work load our staff have been in to get all things sorted and ...again can only sincerely apologise for any inconvenience we have caused. Your patience with us has been so appreciated. We are now almost back to normal, with tests happening, lessons happening and our staff are able to book students in with a much higher level of confidence that our systems are fully functional. We welcome Raphael to our team. Raphael will be handling our Automatics now and he commenced a few weeks ago. Students are very much enjoying his lessons. Raphael (Raf) has been a driving Instructor for a few years and started off in NSW so dealing with traffic is second nature to him. More on Raf soon. Thank you again to all our past and present students for your great support and we do sincerely appreciate it. Its what makes us do the great job our staff do. Cong adulations to all our passing students and we wish you all safe driving for life.

16.01.2022 Welcome to another update at Pass Plus Training Academy. Well I mentioned in our last post to watch this space and we were going to have some great things happen. Firstly we are so proud to announce that Tania Roberts is joining our team and we so welcome her aboard and look forward to you meeting Tania in lessons. Hoping Tania will be on board full time in a week or two at most We look forward to introducing her to you all on facebook soon.... We also welcome Harry the Hyundai . Harry is new to our fleet and is our Hyundai i30 Hatch. He is our new manual and we look forward to introducing him to some of our clients over the next week or two. As always we are so proud of our past and present students. You have to take a breath sometimes and remember how much of a challenge learning to drive can be. We all take it for granted after driving for a few years but cast your mind back to those moments when you first started and it really does help to put back into perspective what the students go through. We are so proud of them all and again to those who have recently passed their Ps test as special congratulations to you. Ok. So speak again on the next post and till then drive safe for life.
16.01.2022 Hi all. What an amazing week it has been for us. We had many students going for their P test and all passed. Wow a great result, we are so proud of you all. Thank you again to all our students, past and present for being great ambassadors for our Driving School. Without you we would not be here. ... Safe travels to all. Till next post.
15.01.2022 Hi all, Well we havent posted for a while, not because we havent had anything to say but its just been so busy. We are so excited for our students at present, many are so close to going for the P's and we know they will do well. MSMPSL is a mantra in our teaching and is so important to ensuring safe driving. We wish we could get the whole driving community chanting it and we know it would make for safer driving for everyone. Each day out on the roads, we experience at leas...t two or three examples of careless driving. Many people say to me, you must be frightened going out with your new drivers. I say sure but not from my new driver but from the many experienced drivers out there that take such silly risks. Yesterday I witnessed one driver over taking on double lines around a corner, another pull out in front of a B Double truck where the Truck driver smoked his wheels in braking and another driving straight through a stop sign without stopping. Crazy. These people one day unfortunately will get caught out but its the innocent people who suffer. Please remember and tell others, its just not worth it. That one second you save in time could be the last second you experience on this earth. A huge congratulations to our past new divers achieving their P's and we truly wish all SAFE DRIVING FOR LIFE. Till next post.
14.01.2022 Hi all, Well aren’t we living in different times right now. The State and Federal Government lock down since March has been a bit of a challenge for us all in different ways but as always we adapt and we move on. It’s the same for us at Pass Plus Training Academy, we were closed down for the month of April and that posed many challenges for us and all in our Industry. But we are now slowly coming out of the close down and have recommenced lessons for our clients. There are ...some stipulations on this and I have attached our letter of consent for clients before we commence a lesson. This has helped both our clients and us to ensure we don’t contribute to the spread of Covid 19. The Department of Transport QLD stopped driving Tests on the 31st of March, advising that they were suspended for three months. They have just this week commenced tests for heavy vehicles again and we are hoping to hear this week or next an update on standard vehicle tests recommencing (fingers crossed). We will keep you updated as best we can over the coming weeks and please remember you can continue to practice driving with your supervising drivers and we are now back on board to also assist in lessons. So till next post, stay safe and safe driving for life. Carona virus acceptance form At Pass Plus Training Academy, we take your safety and comfort seriously. As such we have not conducted driving lessons for over four weeks to assist in the containment of the virus due to social distancing rules set out by the Department of Health and Transport Queensland. It has now been possible to recommence lessons thanks to all the sacrifice you have made over the past month but to do so we still need your help. In agreeing to conduct our lessons we must ask for you to agree to the following conditions. That you are not currently in quarantine through you or anyone in your household having or being suspected of having the virus. You are not currently experiencing any symptoms of the virus such as sore throat, coughing or fever. You conduct yourself in a safe manner by having washed your hand thoroughly before your driving lesson and if needing to cough or sneeze you do so in a tissue or in the crook of your elbow. For 14 days after any lesson, should you experience any of the virus symptoms, that you contact us to advise in a timely manner. We will ensure to you that our vehicles are in a clean and hygienic standard at all times. Also that we will supply sanitised hand wipes for your use. We thank you for your understanding with these set out assistance protocols and through helping us we can all move forward in being healthier and safer with each other.
14.01.2022 Hi All, 2019, Happy New Year. I hope you have all kept to your resolutions:) We have been flat out like lizards drinking at the moment. School Holidays and some extra time on your hands makes a great time to slot in a few Driving Lessons. We hope you have had a safe and happy break and while School is about to get back to full swing and Uni is about a month away, keep on driving and gaining that all important experience when ever you can.... Congratulations to all our new P plate drivers and we are so proud for you. Until next post. Drive safe for life
13.01.2022 Wow, Its been a couple of weeks since we have posted and what a busy time it has been. A huge congratulations to all our students who passed. Hard effort for you all but we are so proud of your achievement. We get asked now and then which should our Learner learn. Manual or Auto. Our answer is honest. It is entirely up to you. The arguments or plus and minuses are simple and we will let you make up your own mind.... Why manual as all cars now are basically auto? Not quite true, there are many manual cars still on the road and the old, if you get caught out with a friend at a party say, and they have had a drink, you need to maybe drive you and them home. At this point in time, many careers have a stipulation of needing a manual licence. Ambulance or Paramedic drivers. Police etc. If in the future you want to drive in an overseas country many use diesel and are manual. If none of these are for you and you only ever plan on a driving an auto, then auto is for you. Wew woould love to hear your comments, so feel free to post us back. In the mean time, drive safe for life.
13.01.2022 Hi all, Well a sad day for us As you would be aware due to the corona virus all Driving Instructors are unable to conduct driving lessons until further notice. All Driving tests have been suspended for three months or until advised. I have had many parents and students ask me if that means they cant drive at all and my answer is yes you can but based on all the information supplied and read to date, this means that if, for example, you are needing to go to the shops or and a...ppointment, by all means learn to drive. But do not decide to drive to the Gold Coast and back. This would be deemed no essential. Hope this makes sense but bottom line is always use your common sense. Our main aim is to stop the spread of this terrible virus and the less contact we have at present, the better. We all hope you have a safe and wonderful Easter and we will do our best to keep track of any changes and advise. Till next post, stay safe and drive safe for life.
13.01.2022 Hi Just an update from Pass Plus. Unfortunately, we still cannot conduct any lessons but the good news is that as of Tuesday 4th of May 2020 we will be recommencing lessons to any clients who would like them. There are some conditions which we have set out below and they are being put in place for your safety. The Department of Transport have left their advice that driving Tests still will not recommence until end of June 2020 but we are still monitoring this.... We are so excited to be back to teaching and cannot wait to see you all again all be it in controlled environment. Please read below as it is there for your safety as well as others. 11.01.2022 We are so proud all the time of our students sucesses. By obtaining their P's but also the steps forward they take while learning. As an Instructor its what we enjoy the most. 07.01.2022 Hi all, We are so proud of our students as we have had several going through their Ps test and have had many complimentary comments from the QLD Dept Transport Examiners on how impressed they have been with the standard of driving. More so the respect our students have shown to these people. I have been so proud of all my students as they show such a level of respect to not only myself but also to the Examiners. Examiners have such a hard job, they have only 30 minutes to d...etermine if a person is capable of being a safe driver and at times they walk a very fine line between yes and no. They cop so much abuse from people I dont know how they stay positive. But they do and its their professionalism that shines through every time. The fact that they thank my students for their level of respect is a proud moment for me. Thank you Students For the students that dont pass first time, remember it does not mean you cannot drive it just means a little more practice and fine tuning and you will achieve your goal. Congratulations to all our students and thank you for your patronage. Till next post.
06.01.2022 Hi all. As we march on through 2018 we are again proud of the acheivments of all our students. Congradulations to all that have passed this year and please remeber, be safe when driving for life. To the students who dont pass first time, as mentioned to you, it is not a bad thing, just a set back. Learn from the errors and work to rectify them. You will pass and you will be a better driver for it. We are proud of all our candidates and thank you all once again for your ongoing support. Till next time
04.01.2022 Congratulations to a few more of our new drivers. Well done to you and safe driving.
