23.01.2022 Band and Albion Consols Gold Mining Company Ballarat, 1880-1891. Between 1868 and 1908 the company worked 11 shafts with a total yield of 740,746 ounces. To completely explore the mine a person would have to walk 48 kms.

09.01.2022 The New Australasian No. 2 Gold Mine, Creswick. 1883 and now. The scene of one of Australia's worst underground mining disasters. On the 12th of December 1882, water flooded the mine from the old workings, trapping twenty seven of the men underground.
