25.01.2022 Just off the machine.....the fabrics are just gorgeous!!!! This is a sample which will be in Alize Fabrics booth at the Sewing, Stitching and Handcraft show on 6-8th July and this quilt will be available as a kit.

Id like to thank all of my clients who have entrusted their quilts to me and continued to support me since my move from Adelaide to North Beach. Your support has meant more to me than youll ever know and I thank you from the bottom of my heart .

11.01.2022 Sometimes a job can become bigger than Benhur....this was one those quilts. Paper pieced, Batik fabric, lots of fullness. In a case such as this Mary Ellen’s Best Press has always been my go-to along with steam....however Batik is a different type of fabric and doesn’t change at all using this method. To shrink some of the fullness I trapuntoed the Centre and double batted in many areas and tucks were taken. The end result was certainly worth the effort and the customer was over the moon.

The fabric range is Chance of Flowers by Sandy Gervais for Moda and we have used a panel for the centre and one Layer Cake. We have Layer Cakes available for $35 and the centre panel is $12.
