25.01.2022 Found this little guy sheltering under a paver today when having a tidy. Replaced the paver and let him be. So many things can be homes for others.

23.01.2022 Christmas open hours We are closed over the Christmas holiday period and will reopen at 9am on the Tuesday 7th January. We would like to thank our customers and volunteers for a great year and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and a wonderful new year.

23.01.2022 A happy and safe easter to all! Paten Park Native Nursery will be closed over the easter weekend, with us reopening on Tuesday the 14th.

22.01.2022 The persistent chirping of this fledgling Pheasant Coucal gave his location away although Mum or dad was always nearby for a feed. These birds are a regular visitor to the nursery with the booming call echoing along the creek bank.



22.01.2022 Ekka Show Public Holiday We will be Closed Friday 14th August for the Ekka Show Public Holiday, reopening on Saturday and Sunday as normal.

Well have plants available for purchase and expert advice for your native gardening needs - youll find our stall in the Community Groups section, between the playground and the Move for Less zone. If you cant make it to this event, we have a massive selection of plants available at the nursery - come and see us between 9am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday, or 9am-1pm Sundays.

21.01.2022 We are open Saturday (Australia Day) as usual but only until 12pm and then on Sunday until 1pm as usual. Our benches are groaning with the weight of lots of new stock. Come in and take a look.

17.01.2022 Our new welcome mat. He spent two days wedged in behind the bbq and has settled again at the entrance to the shed. The bulge has reduced significantly.

16.01.2022 What apears to be a Large Purple Line-blue butterfly (Nacaduba berenice). taking a drink from a Parsonsia straminea Monkey Rope flower a few weeks ago before the weather cooled off. There are still some butterflies around.

14.01.2022 Spruce up your festive season with these amazing christmas gifts perfect for under the tree or on the christmas table. This year the volunteers have stepped up and produced some amazing cakes, hampers and delicious native jams! With many options available including gluten free and traditional christmas cakes and bush food hampers.

13.01.2022 Just a heads up our little spikey fried is back. This very cute Echidna tends to be very focussed on the task at hand and doesnt have much road sense so please keep an eye out when crossing the bridge.

12.01.2022 We are having a clean up and have lots and lots of pots to give away. All sizes are available the long, the short and the tall.

10.01.2022 ANZAC day trading hours. We will be open 1pm until 4pm. Plenty of stock including advanced Ferns and these Stags.

09.01.2022 Our little slice of nature often brings us close to native wildlife. Here's a photo of one of our regulars supervising an order.

09.01.2022 This spectacular flower is from Proiphys amboinensis (Cardwell lily). Hopefully if our native bees do their job we will have some for sale in the coming months. There is so much amazing new stock on our benches now.

06.01.2022 Our Cottage is getting a makeover. Due to the work we will be Closed from 1pm Sunday 10th and will reopen at 9am Saturday 16th March. We will be monitoring our emails and will try our best to respond in timely manner. Some very cute Volunteers have eagerly put their paws up to look after the plants for us. Can we trust them?
