24.01.2022 Three sleeps to go and we are ready to ramble - Sunday April 7 - 9 to 4pm. Remember due to rain buses will be unable to enter 'Cawarra' at Gresford. There are five lovely gardens - bring a picnic or get one from one of our local stores - all the info is on the website and the weather is looking perfect!

21.01.2022 The Paterson Allyn Garden Ramble - Sunday April 7.... A desire to share the many beautiful gardens in the Paterson Allyn valleys with as many people as possible, and the possibility of incidentally raising money for worthwhile community projects, are driving the garden ramble. The five gardens selected for the ramble, are country gardens, spread out and rambling without the confines of suburbia to restrict their owners’ imagination. ... The vision defining the ramble includes not just five amazingly varied gardens, but has a distinct historical flavour, with the inclusion of Duninald on the outskirts of Paterson and the old Lindemans property Cawarra on the outskirts of Gresford, where owners will be on hand to talk about the long history of those properties and their gardens. Whilst our gardens are some distance apart, the route is a scenically enjoyable one, with a number of local eateries along the way. or pre-order a picnic and then enjoy a perfect day out in the country to see the sort of gardens which can only exist in a rural environment.

09.01.2022 Unfortunately ‘NO BUSES at ‘Cawarra’ as the road is unsuitable following the rain this week, small buses - 25 seats or less are welcome at the other four gardens. We look forward to seeing you Sunday! .

07.01.2022 Cawarra...the original home of Dr Henry Lindeman and still the residence of descendants of the Lindeman Family. Please note, Cawarra has an unsealed driveway, take care crossing the river - this crossing is not suitable for cars with low clearance, there will be parking marshalls on site.
