25.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. Sharing some interesting research. Dr Nick Fuller from the University of Sydney has been researching weight loss and he has shown that the most you should loose every week is 500g. In a month 2 kg. You then have a break for a month were you maintain the weight that you lost to reset your body weight set point. This is a researched based approach that is worthwhile exploring.

23.01.2022 Feel so blessed by the gifts I received from my PBL students yesterday. I am sad to have to move on to a different group of students next semester. It was an amazing experience and I learned a lot.

20.01.2022 On my way home today I was reflecting on how children do what we do and not what we say. I realised that if we are not willing to care for our bodies due to lack of self-love or lack of time or something else we must do it for our children so they learn how to love, cherish, accept and care for their bodies.

19.01.2022 What a great experience for me. I really enjoyed doing this podcast. Here we talk about how weight loss programs oversimplify how to lose weight without taking into consideration the long term (10 years) effects on the weight of their clients. The underlying mechanisms behind the body weight set point are not know however there is some research showing how this weight set point can be shifted up or down. Hope this podcast gets you thinking and interested in learning more a...bout how your body works. Thanks Andrea and WWA for having me onboard to do this podcast. I am grateful xx "Look after your body, you only have one." https://omny.fm//th/weight-issues-it-may-not-be-your-fault

01.01.2022 Hi ladies, My tip for you guys this week is to work towards increasing your muscle mass. As we age, due to hormonal changes, muscle mass decreases. Doing resistance training helps you to maintain your muscle mass and in turn a higher metabolism. Have a fantastic day!!

01.01.2022 A diet doesn't have to be painful. You can make lots of micro-changes that all add up to one massive change.
