20.01.2022 No better way for the boys to finish the school holidays then a two day camp on the Macquarie River. Swimming, fishing, cooking on the fire and in the camp ovens and all sharing good yarns and good vibes. Thanks to all the boys that came and special thanks to Jake Eastwood and Blake Baxter who gave Nathan a hand over the 2 days greatly appreciated. Doesn’t get much better than that
15.01.2022 We also had our year 3/4 boys head out to Balladoran last Tuesday which was the first time this crew had been out there to spend the day with Uncle Ralph. As it was the boys first time out there a lot of the day was spent listening and learning about Culture, respect and growing up to make the right choices. Boys also had some fun doing different activities with spears and boomerangs.

04.01.2022 Another busy day for 7 of the boys who joined Nathan and Blake on a little day trip out Bush then back into town to the pool. The boys spent the first half of the day on a bush walk not far from Dubbo and pulled up to learn some moves on a dance they are working on with the Brother Blake Baxter. Boys then grabbed a feed and headed to the pool where they had lunch, some good yarns and a swim/ run around for the arvo. Another great day in the bank these holidays.
03.01.2022 Some highlights from our 2 Cultural well-being camp out at Balladoran on Monday and Tuesday. 10 year 5/6 boys kicked of the school holidays by heading out Bush with Robert, Nathan, Jake, Blake and Uncle Ralph. Boys spent some time out in the sheering sheds, before heading out in the national parks around Balladoran visiting a number of significant sites and listening and learning from Uncle Ralph over the two days. The boys cooked up a storm over the two days and one of the highlights for everyone was camping out Under the stars. Looking forward to planning some more activities for our boys this school holidays
02.01.2022 The last two days have been great, having our stage 2 boys spend the day out Bush yesterday with Uncle Ralph, and today our stage 3 boys spending the arvo out Bush working on their dance with Blake. Huge thank you to the teaching staff who came along to see the boys in their element. Also thank you to Paul Loxley who has continued to support Nathan and Robert and the program.
