24.01.2022 It's Mardi Gras time and everyone is invited! Sydney's LGBTIQA+ celebrate this Saturday the big Mardi Gras Parade and welcomes visitors from around the world. Mardi Gras was founded on the values of acceptance and inclusion.... This event will be Wheelchair accessible and Auslan interpreters will be available on the night. They aim to ensure that their events are as welcoming and accessible as possible. We are the exclusive Australian importers of Molift Patient Lifters & Netti Manual Wheelchairs from Norway and TA-Service scripted Power wheelchairs from Denmark. The opportunity... Take responsibility and own the service division of the business! We need a person who knows what a successful workshop and service department looks like. We are in need of a person who can develop and refine our existing setup and process. We need person with an engineering mind and who can think proactively. We need a person who likes everything in the right place. And most of all we need a person who is client facing and client focused. Key responsibilities Repairs and maintenance of patient lifting hoists, power and manual wheelchairs, mobility scooters, beds and other related healthcare equipment On-site servicing of equipment in hospitals, nursing homes and private houses Customisation and assembly of new wheelchairs for our clients. In-house repairs in our Marrickville workshop About you At least 3 years experience within a mechanical or electrical servicing background Trade experience suited to metal fabrication and assembly Specific experience in servicing of mobility/medical equipment will be highly regarded but not essential A good understanding of electrical equipment Great organisational and time management skills You will be responsible for looking after the Patient Handling brand so being well presented and possessing exceptional communication skills is a must This role will be full time and vehicle and mobile phone will be provided. 02.01.2022 We closed on the 20th of December and were in the process of winding up for the day when one of our clients told us he wanted get his mum home from an aged care facility for Xmas. He asked us to help. Working with Tony from Keith Root building we were able to install a Molift 6m x 3m x-y system and supply an icare king single with a Novis procare mattress on Xmas eve. So much for Xmas shopping! It was a privileged to help. A safe and merry Xmas to all. #molift #agedcare #patienthandling
