24.01.2022 Today is World Teachers Day. We would like to thank our wonderful teaching team for the awesome work they do every day. Please take the time to acknowledge a teacher today.

24.01.2022 REMINDER- Tomorrow is our first swimming day. For the next 5 Thursday's we will do a double swimming block. From 12pm students will participate in PE required curriculum of Learn to Swim classes with coaches, our PE teacher and staff. Please make sure you return your permission note and money by tomorrow. TOWEL, SWIMMERS, SUNSAFE SHIRT, BAG, SWIM CAP, GOGGLES, SUNSCREEN. We will keep an eye on weather and postpone if needed. If required, parents may sign out students from pool before they return to school.

08.01.2022 REMINDER: If you've ordered or plan on buying our BOOK PACK, you do not need to buy or do anything else. Don't join the crazy back to school madness. You're student will only require a school bag, lunch box and water bottle (clearly named). School office will be open from 19, 20 and 23/01/2021 - for uniforms and book pack payment. Will add times or call first. Centrepay will be available for eligible families but EFTPOS is still down. Stay safe and stay tuned. Looking forward to a great 2021 of learning. 05.01.2022 Anglicare Southern Queensland and the Mercy Community Lowood Hub are partnering to deliver the Bringing Up Great Kids parenting program in Lowood for Term 4 202...0. We are looking for Expressions of Interest by the 14th of September for parents in the Somerset region who are interested in participating in the program. Here are the details: Bringing Up Great Kids Lowood Starting Tuesday 13th of October (Week 2 Term 4) 9am - 11am Program runs for 6 weeks Lowood Community Centre, 1 Peace Street Lowood If this sounds like it suits you or someone you know, give us a call at the Lowood Hub on 5426 3432 or email [email protected] to book your place as we are limited to 8 parents at this stage. A COVID-safe plan will be in place and staff will ensure that sessions are run in a safe and supportive manner.

04.01.2022 Transition Day for all the year 6 students who are enrolled at Lowood State High School for 2021 is tomorrow. The students are asked to be at the hall by 8:50am for a 9am start and finish at 3pm. They will need to wear their primary school uniform as well as enclosed shoes, bring a hat, pencil case, notebook and water bottle. Students will be provided with a sausage sandwich for lunch or can bring their own lunch or money for tuckshop. Have a great day.
