El domingo 05 de Abril 2020 a las 02:00 am se atrasar el reloj 1 hora para regresar al horario normal. Se dice que durante la ltima dcada slo dos han pasado frente a la costa de Sdney, y Sean quien tuvo la buena fortuna de poder filmar con xito un video muy valioso de la ballena azul, coment que se qued sin palabras cuando la vi.... We arrived to Leura just before noon but still found some snow patches on the ground and cars covered with snow.

Aqu se encuentran varios monumentos importantes, como el monument del Capitn James Cook, la Fuente Archibald que conmemora la asociacin de Australia con Francia en la gran Guerra Mundial (1914-1918) y el Memorial de Guerra de Anzac.... La magnfica Catedral Santa Mara se encuentra atrs del parque. Se elev al estatus de catedral en 1835 pero se incendi en 1865 y fue reconstruida por William Wardel. Aunque no terminada se abri en 1882, y las espiras se completaron en el ao 2000. Esperamos que pronto todos podamos salir a recorrer algn parque y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Hyde Park covers 16.2 hectares/40 acres of land, and it houses a statue of Captain James Cook, the Archibald Fountain which commemorates the Association of Australia and France in the Great War (1914-1918), The Anzac War Memorial, and approximately 580 trees! The magnificent St. Marys Cathedral sits behind the park. It was elevated to the status of cathedral in 1835 but it was destroyed by fire in 1865. The reconstruction was completed in 1988 and The spires were completed in the year 2000. We hope that everybody soon will be able to enjoy a nice walk in a park nearby. Por favor no olviden el traer un sombrero, gafas, crema para protegerse de los rayos ultravioletas, y agua para evitar la deshidratacin. ... Las botellas de agua y bebidas enlatadas son caras. Si guardan una botella, se puede rellenar continuamente sin necesidad de comprar otra, ya que aqu no es difcil encontrar grifos de agua y es buena. En la foto se ve una de las estaciones de agua en la playa de Manly, la cual tambin tiene agua para mascotas. Estas estaciones de agua tambin ayudan para minimizar residuos de plstico. Ms gente esta rellenando sus propias botellas, tanto como la de sus mascotas. Mantente deshidratado, s inteligente con el agua y disfruta de tu turismo en Sydney. We are having intense heat this summer in Australia and Sydney is not an exception. Please do not forget to take your hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and DRINKING WATER to avoid dehydration. You may be surprised at how expensive those bottled water and canned beverages are in local stores. But if you keep one bottle, you can refill it again and again as there is no problem to drink tap water here. Here is a public water station shown in the photo at Manly beach. In recent years, more of them are appearing to provide drinking water and minimize plastic waste. We see more people refilling their own drink bottles or reusing the pet bottles every day. Keep dehydrated, be water smart and enjoy your sightseeing in Sydney!

Definitivamente vali la pena, ya que encontramos esta impresionante vista del valle! Tambin tuvimos la suerte de poder ver un Aguila Audaz (Wedged Tailed Eagle) en pleno vuelo, la cual se captur en la foto. La pueden encontrar? 1601...360Wedge-tailed eagle Pic of the Day No.60. The other day we had the opportunity to visit the area beyond Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. It took us another hour to get there, but definetely worthwhile as we found this impressive view of the valley! We also found a Wedge tailed eagle flying by in the background. Can you spot it?

ANZAC DAY-The most important day to commemorate the national heroes from both world wars and other conflicts has been affected by COVID-19, as all events, parades & celebrations in general have been cancelled.
