25.01.2022 TOSHIKI ONE OF THE SICKEST CATS WE’VE EVER HAD.. A few days ago we received an SOS email from the pound asking for help for this poor boy... ... He has a heart murmur and a severe injury injury to his mouth and the original thought was that he was made to drink hot water.... Sadly when the vet had a more thorough assessment she determined that it’s more likely that he was made to drink something corrosive He has burns all over inside and around his mouth and throat and he was in severe pain. His mouth and throat was almost swollen shut.... it’s a miracle that he is still able to eat. The pound staff named him Toshiki from the Japanese work Toshiko meaning treasured child We love the name... and we hope to teach this boy that he is treasured. The cruelty some people can inflict leaves us shocked and speechless but it amazes us that despite the cruelty Toshiki has endured he remains a sweet and loving boy who loves cuddles and bum scratches. Toshiki is now taking antibiotics and pain relieving medication and will need further review of his heart murmur. 08.01.2022 Yet another week & weekend passed and not one single enquiry for Amy & Morgan. We have put them forward to people that have contacted us wanting other kittens w...ho have already been adopted and the responses we quite sad. ‘They aren’t very pretty’, ‘no they are too old’, ‘the ones I wanted were cuter’, ‘no I will wait for others.’ Amy & Morgan will fit beautifully into any family especially one that has little humans.
